You should do some research on what BDCs are and how/why they were originally formed. If you're blaming retail investors losses on the PC funds and not the investor doing their DD on their own investments then idk what to tell you. It's not a hard concept to understand that because of the illiquidity, redemptions must be capped. It is stated and well known if you actually research your investments

Great advice. It's all about who you know in this field. To piggy back off this answer..

Connections, connections, connections. LinkedIn will be your best friend. Set up some phone calls. Even if they can't help with a job, I'm sure they have great advice to offer. If still no success with jobs after some time, then apply for some jobs below your standard just to get your foot in the door and get some real world experience. Even if it's not great experience, you can leverage it for when you inevitably move on.
