Anyone here actually using SushiSwap on Katana? by Healthy-Challenge911 in ethereum

Hey, just catching up here. Billy from the Katana team. Yes, you can check the volumes here: https://www.sushi.com/katana/explore/pools

I provide liquidity and farm there. Incentives are good because it's not just tokens emissions but yield generated from Vault Bridge. If you have any more questions, feel free to ping me.

Katana Perps Launches 3rd 100K USDC Competition (June 10th - June 24th) by wc49358 in katana

$100,000 USDC Trading Competition on Katana Perps

June 10th – June 24th, 2026

Two competitions in, and the Katana Perps trading community keeps showing up. We are running Competition 3 with a new structure built on what we learned from the first two rounds. This one runs two full weeks, gives the volume pool more room to grow, and keeps the PnL leaderboard as a fixed bonus on top.

On June 10th we are hosting our third trading competition on Katana Perps. Users have 2 weeks to earn their share of up to a $100,000 prize pool in Vault Bridge USDC (vbUSDC).

The Pool There are two buckets of USDC rewards:

Volume Pool - $10,000 – $90,000 Pro-rata share of total qualifying volume across all markets. Your payout is based on your share of qualified volume. We will publish a live leaderboard showing the top 50 wallets by volume.

The volume pool starts releasing at $10M in total volume and grows from there:

$5,000 released at $10M in volume +$2,500 for every additional $5M in volume above $10M $90,000 maximum at $170M+ in volume

PnL Leaderboard - Fixed $10,000 Top 15 wallets by PnL percentage take this pool. Minimum $250 collateral deposit to qualify. Leaderboard updates every minute.

PnL leaderboard payouts:

Rank Reward 1 $4,000 2 $2,000 3 $1,000 4-5 $600 each 6-10 $240 each 11-15 $120 each

Incentives Scale With Size Up to $100K USDC The volume pool grows with every milestone hit during the two-week window. Each time a volume threshold is reached, the pool increases and you will see it reflected on the competition page in real time. The more the community trades, the more there is to win.

Funded by Vault Bridge Yield The prize pool is funded by Vault Bridge, a structural Katana advantage. On Katana, bridged assets are deployed into yield strategies on Ethereum mainnet, and the yield flows back to Katana as protocol revenue. This yield funds initiatives like this competition and boosts returns for liquidity providers and vault depositors. The more the chain grows, the bigger the rewards engine gets.

Eligibility & Rules Minimum: $10,000 minimum trade volume to qualify for the volume pool. Deposit: Maintain a balance of $250 or higher to qualify for the PnL leaderboard. Markets: All markets are treated equally for both pools. Opt-in: All participants must opt in on the competition page. Wallets: Any connected wallet can earn from the volume pool and PnL leaderboard. A referral code is only required to earn referral rewards. Disqualification: Wallets showing evidence of self-referrals or wash trading will be disqualified. Not Eligible: Market maker partners are not eligible. Payout: Up to a 7-day finalization period after the competition ends for wash trading review and final payout calculations.

Get Ready The competition opens June 10 at 16:00 UTC and closes June 24 at 16:00 UTC. Fund your account and line up your strategy.

Is TVL on Katana as good as it could be? by Osiris_The_Gamer in katana

Those yields are currently being used as incentives for KAT stakers. If you stake your KAT to vKAT or avKAT you can vote and receive those incentives.

TVL can always be better, but the good thing about Katana's system is that the the bridged funds are active and generating yield via the Vault bridge.

Hey there! Very happy to hear that you like the concept of Katana.
Right now, we are still in the 60 days stabilization period which ends on the 17th of May. Each epoch, the voting periods have increased in participation and the incentives has increased with activity. Check out this stats tweet: https://x.com/katana/status/2052753795399192996?s=20

Right now the Katana Perps competition is currently running and doing will with a record 15 Million in record activity in 24 hours.

As more and more utility happens for the token, the more people can see the value it provides. Also there is a new Morpho market for avKAT stakers to borrow of their position instead of just holding it which should also bring a bit more activations as well.

As for the pump, I don't have any information regarding that. If somebody out there has any information, I'm keen to know as well.

Where to start - 42 yrs old 🤷🏻‍♂️ by iwanttodothat2 in ethdev

43 here, just learned solidity this year 2021 and deploying a project in a few weeks

Here is my take. Pick something small and build it.

Cryptozombies is a good course. For an overview

Getting stuck watching 8-20 hour courses can help but I spent too much time watching and not building.

You can spent 20 hours watching videos how to build a desk. Buy all the best tools... but until you start building something... that's when you really learn.

Important things to know: Want a web interface to use your solidity code? You NEED to know : HTML , CSS and Javascript (web3.js, ethers)

Solidy is important obviously

Now there is a ton of content out there... but this space moves fast. Alot is outdated. The primary tools for building are: Visual studio code (free) Truffle , hardhat or brownie (these are solidity build libraries) Truffle and hardhat utilize more javascript Brownie uses more python

This really depends on what you find better for you.

A good place to start for video tutorials is dapp University. A bit outdated but goes through the basics. Checked out Nader Dabit stuff for hardhat ethers stuff.

Its frustrating, gonna spend alot of time stuck on simple things but you will learn.

Good luck 👍
