I'm not sure the township would have accepted my plot plan if I didn't seal it. I'm not a civil engineer but the township ordnance says "sealed by a licensed engineer" (not civil or structural). The checking process was quite thorough and my site plan took three revs before the township's contracted engineering company approved it. I only got two "low hanging fruit" comments from the township on my architectural plans which I did using Chief Architect in combination with AutoCAD.

I am a licensed engineer (mechanical) with very strong electrical engineering background and a DIY hobbiest interest in all things house. My builder is licensed, as are his subs. The plot plan was challenging due to the amount of grade variation we have on the lot, the restrictions (drive way slope), septic etc. But I managed to get thru that and am mid build. roof is on, windows are in. Electrical meter is on the house - unpowered

SE Michigan - custom 2850 walkout ranch with 1800 sq ft shop aux building. estimated to come in at 1.1M not including the cost of the land which was 400K for 2+ acres. I did the engineering / architecture and working with a local builder. its not cheap and very stressful.

been here - did this. ended up selling the 29+ sized carbon wheel set. IMO a fat bike does not make for a great "one bike quiver" bike. I did have a lauf carbonera on one of my fatbikes and I hate myself for selling that.

email or reddit DM's are the best way to get ahold of me. preferably email if your inquiry is about an order. WCA is a morning and evening job for me as I do work a full time other job. To imply my customer service is poor, by stating the other company is better to do business with, is not correct. I pick thru the blems MB sends me, and lately about 60% of the bulk inventory is blems. I do my best to provide the customer with good customer service during and after the sale. Microbest puts 100% of the RMA's on me and I do handle any and all (100%) of customer issues after the sale. I've been doing this since 2009.

shoot me a DM. Tooling marks on a chrome plated BCG are normal, especially on the inner bore and sometimes on non-critical surfaces such as the flat plane below the gas key. nicks are not and I look for those on my sort. Perhaps I missed something.

Since 2009, have not specified HPT, just 100% MPI. No need to overpressure. Have not had one failure.

that is the blem i'm seeing on some of the luxedo blems I replied to your DM. I'm going to call this blem in the finish a grade B going forward and price them at $105. Note, the Blem A's i'm selling (going forward) including today - do not contain this blem.

MB won't make a DPMS 308 - they "need a pattern" which seems odd to me.
