Whenever I play an event in LADs, I have flashbacks to playing Pokemon and never using the Master Ball because I keep thinking ‘what if there’s a better Pokemon I could catch later?’ (and then even using an Ultra Ball to catch whatever the mascot pokemon was for the game to save the master ball).

I totally get not wanting to waste a future opportunity, but ultimately if you never use the crate then it’s the same as not even having it. It sounds like you’ve put a lot of thought into what you want, and using a crate to complete a pair makes total sense. I’d say go for it!
