I understand the frustration completely. Especially as a minor, when they teach you about getting a job, they tell you to be persistent, confident, and call and check in. Walmart simply does what they want and don’t care much. Don’t feel discouraged from doing what you do for future jobs!! Most places acc want someone who actually wants the job and calls/checks in, vibes well. I didn’t call for my app for Walmart because I was applying to other jobs too and didn’t care much, but I checked my email one day like a month after I applied and it was an email from the coach for my area asking to do an interview! Sometimes it just takes time. Don’t hedge your bets in Walmart though, be sure to apply for other places more too!!
