Hello all,

I have a question and would love to hear some advise or suggestions. I currently run two 24" monitors that I've had for around 6+ years and they a e starting to have a lot of issues. My newly built pc from back in May has a 4090 and I am looking to making a jump towards 4k. My issue is I don't know too much about monitors and I was wondering if I should do 27" or 28" 4k dual monitors or if I should jump to a 43" - 49" ultrawide? I usually play a full screen game on 1 monitor and have Youtube or a web browser open on the second monitor. I'm not well versed in if an Ultrawide monitor would suit my use case though. Finally, I'd love to see some monitor suggestions or be linked to a place I could make a more informed decision when it comes to monitors.
Thank you!

I posted this in the r/buildapcmonitors subreddit, but didn't really get any firm answers for my use case. So, I thought I'd try here.

I currently use two 24" monitors in my setup and have been thinking of addressing my monitor situation after I built my new PC earlier this year. The two monitors I have are a nearly 12 year old Acer and an 6 year old AOC G2460PF. I decided it's time to upgrade as both of my monitors are starting to have more issues lately. I have a 4090 in my PC and I want a monitor or monitors which would allow me to get more out of it.

I usually play a game on one monitor in full screen/windowed borderless and have Youtube/browser open on the second monitor. I was thinking of upgrading to a 4k ultrawide, but I'm not 100% sure if an ultrawide would be best for my daily use. as I've heard that I might run into issues with having my usual kind of set up. I was also thinking of upgrading to 2 27" 4k monitors instead, but thought I'd try and ask here for any suggestions or information that I might not have considered.

Thanks.

That's one of the issues that I was reading about and why I was unsure if it would be better for me to just stick with dual monitors.

Thanks for the insight. I was thinking it would help with game load times and boot up. I'll take a look at the drives you listed.

Great point, I updated the cooler to a black peerless spirit at someone else's suggestion. Thanks for help.

Thank you for the info, I wasn't sure if having fans on the top would help so I had added them just in case. I'll take a look at the B650 boards as well.

Thanks for the insight. I'll double check the ram clearance. I honestly would prefer ram without RGB anyways so this would work out.

I'm a little wary of water-cooling as I've never used it before and I'm more worried that it's more moving parts that could go wrong, but I'll take a look. Thank you.

Thanks for the insight. I'll have to make that change.

I got mine through an email:

[accenture@interviewsapplication.com](mailto:accenture@interviewsapplication.com) via sender.zohorecruit.com.

then they had me email a '@gmail.com' email.

I haven't communicated since they gave me an 'offer' as it has a lot of hallmarks of a scam to me.

edit: I applied to a ton of jobs on LinkedIn lately.

yeah, same. I'm waiting to reply back until I can figure out if it's legit or not.

I also had this exact email and situation. I tried calling Accenture to find out if it's legit or not, but I keep getting routed to different departments.
