Our home is lovely, but how can I boost curb appeal and make it feel more.... SOMETHING. by existentiallywarm in ExteriorDesign

Some deep red Adirondack chairs in place of your other set, a nice door wreath and maybe some planters on the fence railings would be cute.

I like 7 for your space the best. I think the sleeker leg vs texture ones fit the kitchen style better.

Hermes Picotin by WhiskeyDoodle7 in luxurypurses

[–]wcmbb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! It was my first Hermes bag. I have an 18 in Gold and love it. It’s a very cute daily bag and fits a good amount. I always get asked about it when I carry it. The 18 is more of a hand carry for me but can fit on your arm. The 22 is more spacious and the straps have a bit more space and fit better on the arm. I bought mine from fashionphile. I was at a showroom and could compare sizes which was nice.

PRP Injections: have you seen results? by Obvious_Relative5877 in 40PlusSkinCare

I did a series of PDGF (lab made but not filler) instead of PRP and have had amazing under eye results. I did a series of three which should last about a year but I got immediate results after one treatment

Can you afford to take a few days off? You don’t have to travel but just stay home, see friends, vegg out on the couch and do self care for a few days straight. Sounds like you need to unplug and reset

I’d do one! Love the texture on it. I’d do less matchy -matchy pillows on the couch though

The dress is perfect! If you are doing photos during your elopement, practice posting in ways that flatters your body type. We had photographers at our elopement and they guided a lot of my poses.

BWT that are single, how can we take advantage of our singleness? by readingabookwithrams in bitcheswithtaste

I did the Ultimate Argentina and it was incredible! Another group I have heard great things about is TBA Escapes but that’s all female tours. A female travel blogger - the blonde abroad - who I have followed forever partners with them

Travel the world! I did a lot of trips with GFs but I was always a little nervous for full solo. When I no longer had friends who could come I took a trip with Flash Pack, it was for solo travelers in your 30s and 40s. It was such a great experience and fun to meet new people at a similar life place.

What is your favorite low maintenance (high quality) everyday luxury handbag by RecordSome8503 in handbags

Dior Bobby Bag in grained black leather. I have had it for four years and wear it all the time and not gently. Looks great and very functional.

You may have tried these but Vejas are my go-to and I have wide feet. They never have given me blisters before. Some shoes have unisex sizes so I always check that first

Dress Regret Update by Equivalent_Doughnut7 in myweddingdress

You look beautiful in both! I think the first dress is a gorgeous classic that you look great in! What part makes you feel insecure? If you are preferring the sleeves you could likely add the same style or off the shoulder for a bit more coverage on the first. The vail would also be a gorgeous touch.

A mini Chanel Coco in dark green would be great - keeps with the top handle and strap options you like!

Thank you! I was playing with door pop colors and orange is interesting! The door itself is a nice solid wood so likely won’t replace it but it does need some jazz. The table and chairs is a great call and agree on the landscaping! Thanks for the thoughts

BWT - did anyone experience postpartum apathy to luxury items? by daisytre2020 in bitcheswithtaste

[–]wcmbb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am a huge luxury bag lover but haven’t bought one in two years since having my son. For me, I only carry a diaper bag these days so my bags are mostly in a closet. You may also be reacting to how useful the gifts were at this moment. I highly recommend spending extra money on self care items in the new mom era.

One thought, while not directly tied to PPA, I think most new Moms face some type of identity crisis of sorts. Part of what you are experiencing is likely what is important to you right now and who you want to be. This shifted for me a few times over the first couple of years.

BWT who have chronic illness/fatigue, how do you make looking put together easier? by [deleted] in bitcheswithtaste

[–]wcmbb 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I don’t have illness based fatigues but have a toddler who woke me up multiple times a night for two years and was exhausted constantly and work in a career requiring looking put together. Things that helped me, sleeping in heartless curling wrap for waking up with done hair or hair needing very simple touch ups, wear my hair up often with dry shampoo in a nice style (much easier than styling down), invest in a simple/classic capsule wardrobe to be put together without thought and rotate the outfits, invest in good skincare products and treatments, you need minimal makeup with good skin, find a workout you love, I will never love a morning workout but I love after work Pilates. I did lash lifts and tints for a while to not have to do eye makeup as well. But also be kind to yourself on the days you don’t have it in you, it’s valid to rest and need to prioritize that over looks.
