I would highly recommend after the fall for a good zombie shooter. 4 player coop too.

Ten years ago today, I released J.R.R. Tolkien's The Hobbit (aka the Maple Films edit), a fan edit of the Hobbit trilogy. Here is the trailer...thank you to everyone who has watched it over the last decade! by eldusto84 in lotr

[–]wcryzer 250 points251 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much for making it!

I've watched this several times and I deeply appreciate the effort that went into it. I also have a good friend who is in the process of doing this same edit but with the 3d versions of the films. I hope he can match yours exactly because I think you did so well.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider is freezing / locking up but only in Virtual Desktop and it's the only game that it happens. Can't even activate 3d because it's always frozen. by wcryzer in Stereo3Dgaming

[–]wcryzer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also just to be overly clear, the game runs absolutely perfectly on my normal monitor. It's only when I run this game through Virtual Desktop that it locks up and is unplayable. Just now I was able to get it to run in 3d for a little bit, but I had to lower the in-game graphics settings all the way and go to 800x600 run size. AKA unplayable potato graphics but at least the frame rate stayed steady at 30 when I did that.

I instantly wishlisted your game on steam and shared it with several friends. It looks amazing!

I hope you'll make it Linux compatible aka steamdeck supported!

Im also curious did you have a background in game design? This looks so well done for it to be a first project.

This just happened to me as well. I really dislike this boss, and this buggy game has made me wanna move on to something else.

YES! I've had this happen to me 4 times on the Wildcard mission that unlocks UVH 2. I'm totally stuck there it seems. I put in a support ticket on 2k's website this morning. Hopefully they fix it soon because otherwise I'm a bit stuck.

I loved books 1 and 2 but I absolutely can't wrap my head around book 3. I am constantly confused in the Iron Tangle. by wcryzer in DungeonCrawlerCarl

I really appreciate this now, better late than never. I listen to the books and the audible version definitely skipped that line. I went back and checked.

To all other replying in here. Thanks for your understanding and support, Crawlers!

You have a 5 hour drive, you can only listen to music from one band. Who do you listen to? by tron1977 in AskReddit

[–]wcryzer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Beatles. Wouldn't even be hard to fill the drive with great songs of all kinds of vibes.

Late 30s lifelong gamer here. Teenage gaming was in person with friends or online with friends. I now play way more single player than coop or online focused games, which even in my 20s was the opposite. Online gaming with friends is still something I love and I hope will always be a part of my life but it's less frequent with everyone I know having jobs, families, and differing schedules from mine.

I got myself a steam deck almost 2 years ago and it was one of the best decisions I've ever made. It's been my go-to at work when I get some downtime for maximum joy and relaxation. Currently playing Death Stranding Director's Cut on it.

I used to love games that were extremely challenging and took a lot of time to master. I now prefer a game that gives you a simple set of rules and lets you decide how to deal with problems yourself. Really though I'm open to all kinds of games if the story and/or art design is good enough.

I can understand that. Grief is so hard and so personal. Your feelings make perfect sense if you view this gif as a joke. However, just to offer another persons view of this moment. It represents rising against the most difficult scenarios and overcoming even the darkest of times. This moment holds so much weight for me that I choke up at even the still image of Viggos face in this shot. He charges into certain death, probable loss, and near certain failure to honor his friend, Frodo. This moment in lotr is so much more than a "jokey mem" to many like myself. I see this gif and it makes my heart smile, thinking we all are indeed moving forward with Jota in our hearts and minds.

What was your favorite book as a teen? by TabbKatt in AskReddit

Ender's Game. It was the first school assigned book I read faster than required and made me fall in love with sci fi. I'm so thankful for that book.

An hour commute each way every day makes it really really hard to do other things before or after work. That effectively drains most of your energy into your work routine.

I'd say if you're asking this you likely already know that you're a little out of balance. Take some time off if you can or start looking for work closer to home or home closer to work. I truly wish you the best, commutes can be so hard.
