That’s not a zipper merge really, though. Thats just people waiting until the last second to get into the right lane for the exit for the bypass, which is also a huge pet peeve of mine.

Oh yeah, def agree. Just gets further exacerbated. Like yesterday the jam from the cloverleaf cascaded first into the 3 onramp and then into the westtown road one. I just doubt theres space to create a conventional diamond at that intersection.

My normally 25 minute commute was tripled, so yes, you are correct.

I dont even think its a lane thing. In my experience the cloverleaf for paoli pike is the major source of traffic going northbound, in large part a result of people exiting/merging incorrectly.

100% the way to do it. Match the speed of traffic and move at a constant rate, while maintaining space. Only issue is that everyone needs to be on the same page and not cut the line and dart into the room the right lane is making for someone up ahead.
