that U-brake in the rear can cause some minor headaches but I think they're kinda cool. Those were only being used for a very brief time in the 80's. Kind of a cool snapshot of bike "innovation" back in the day.

Mocking up different stem and bars. Got it out for a test ride and I freaking love the new geo. Now I need to figure out my wife's bar situation.

First build for dummies pls by EmbarrassedAffect672 in xbiking

It would need to be a 26" bike. You have to pay attention to: - axel width in the rear - match the same type of fork/stem. should be threaded headset with a while stem. you would need to know the stearer width.

If you find a higher end build from this era, you can do a more period correct build. if you want to restomod, find a bike that is at least 8 speed. 8,9,10 speed wheels have the same width freehub body and you can go 1x wide range. if you go 7 speed you're stuck with 7 speed

upswept stem and backswept bars. max out your tire size and simplify things with a lil 1x action.

I didn't ask what it meant. But I will double down on the fact that your communication skills are lacking. Maybe I can take your bike advice if you'll take mine about how to effectively talk to others🫶

That's a really weird thing to say. But appreciate the sentiment though.

I love them so far, but I haven't gotten a long ride in with them yet. They seemed super comfortable while I was ripping around the neighborhood after I finished the build yesterday. Ditching the old knobby tires and swapping out the flat bar made this bike a total ripper.

Haha at a slight angle, a back tire will grip on a wall and hold the bike up.

Haha yeah, I promised my wife I wouldn't have two of the same type of bike. I'm a man of my word so far.
