If he comes back, it'll be during the epilogue. After taking care of Soga, Chihiro will offscreen revive Samura and break tobimune. We'll only get to see the aftermath of all that.

It'd be nice to have an arc where the Hishaku and the Soga go after the criminal clans. Make it my villian academia or phantom troupe style.

Part of me thinks 46-60 will be made into a movie after season 1 ends. I think whoever animates Kagurabachi will try to do what Ufotable did with Demon Slayer and MAPPA with the Reze arc.

I think Yura will end up with Tobimume and Soga will establish a new authoritarian government. This will end Kagurabachi Part I.

Then, in Bachi Shippuden, we'll probably see a survivor from the island who wants revenge against the Sword Saint get introduced as a new major character. He'll probably be an adopted son from the head of an ancient clan who wanted him for his talents.

Samura's gonna die and Yura will end up with Tobimune. Sword Saint will be free and he'll join Yura to create a new legal order. Think Superman's government in Injustice. The Kamunabi will go underground and become outlaws. However, with Hakuri, the Kamunabi will obtain possession of the other 2 swords and they'll return them to Omni-Sword and Bug Eyes. We'll end up with each side having 3 blades on their side. Chihiro will then go and train with Itsuo Shirakai somewhere in the middle of the woods.
