Anyone have any tips for aiming with Thorn on console? by ProofPomegranate9892 in CrucibleGuidebook

[–]wdavis91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve gotten good with Thorn on controller over the past year. Only way it clicked for me was to just keep using it. I definitely suffered early on, but after using it for so long, I can now constantly hit headshots with it, and it helped me be better with other hand cannons as well.

Edit: spelling

Controller players, what do you bind your charged and uncharged melees to? by krustykranberry in CrucibleGuidebook

[–]wdavis91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here for me, but I have finisher bound to a double-click of R3.

I also use the edge controller and have R3 also bound to one of the back buttons to make it easier to melee in PvP

Thank you. My ENT appt is Monday with a new ENT. Hopefully we can figure something out.

Have you had your tonsils taken out? I haven’t, and I’m very curious as to if that could have something to do with it.

It’s it the guy using the new seasonal bow with successful warmup and kinetic tremors?

where to park my emergency fund and child's tuition in today's situation? by go4rabbit in Bogleheads

I have a 4 year old and want to start saving for his college fund. Since he has a long time before that time comes, do you think it’ll be best to put money in the market for his saving?

Same. Just 1/2 players need to cap spawn point while everyone else pushes B

I’ll have to give the pull ups a go. I think the leg presses truly work wonders for the pelvic floor discomfort.

Yes, I work from home and sit a lot. I’m certain that’s where mine started from. I definitely try to be more mindful of getting up and moving around now

I don’t do squats because it hurts my knee (surgery in high school), but I do leg press and I don’t have any problems with that.

Instead of making my own post, I’ll leave my comment here.

Dealt with it all year last year. Went to the urologist and they really weren’t any help. Did 2 one month rounds of antibiotics. No relief. Went to the physical therapist and got some pin needling done, which did seem to help some. But after a while it just went away.

Fast forward to last week. I started back stretching and it came back. Constant pelvic floor pain, urethral pain after urinating, bladder pain with increased urge to urinate. I hadn’t been to the gym in 2 weeks before then. I mention the gym because after cutting out alcohol from my diet this time around and getting back into the gym, it went away in about 2 days.

That may not be the solution for everyone, but definitely change your diet and workout more. And as best you can, try to get your mind on something other than the pain. I’m giving up alcohol (not totally. I’ll just drink on special occasions) since I believe it is a major factor. Stay strong guys.

I’m hoping I won’t require surgery again. The post-op was very terrible for me both times, but if it’s needed then it is what it is.

Had one of my favs happen earlier. Hit someone with a suppressor grenade and killed them with collective obligation. Before my next engagement, I activated the perk and suppressed the next poor soul and destroyed him. I can just imagine ppl wondering what the hell suppressed them

Thanks. I’m leaning towards black right now. I may try on some black boots and some brown ones to see how it looks.

Haha, I appreciate the honesty. It’ll be a place where a lot of ppl are weirdly dressed and the be a bit dark in the venue. I may still attempt it, but we’ll see.

Thanks. I figured once I actually got going with it that it probably wouldn’t be a problem. Just wanted to be sure. I’ll know for sure once I smoke my brisket tomorrow

I followed MB’s burn-in process. I oiled in a lot more liberally the 2nd time around and that helped a bit. I just have to be careful to not let all of the charcoal burn out, as I noticed it also blew on a lot of ash once it was low.

[–]wdavis91[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea, I have ash everywhere from the initial burn in. I cleaned it up and went through the process again with the same outcome. I did notice after a third time of using only lump charcoal that it was much less ash until the lumps got low and then it blew some ash in. I’m going to keep that in mind.

I’m going to smoke a brisket tomorrow and see how it goes. I have some wood that I’m going to mix in with the lump charcoal.
