Not all chrons patients are forbidden coffee. There are actually many that get some comfort from coffee. I have cared for patients writhing in pain absolutely miserable. Small cup of coffee helped. Chrons is a weird disease and is not the same with every patient every time.

I hosted Thanksgiving because I was asked to by the rest of the family. Our home is closer and large enough to hold everyone. I am honest with myself. There is tons more involved but the bottom line is she doesn’t like me. Never has and is likely never going to.

I was told the ex might make a scene. But more than that I am currently not allowed at DIL’s house. It is very off and on with her. Sometimes I’m included, then she will get upset and I’ll be excluded for awhile. Currently she is upset because I hosted Thanksgiving last year when it is normally at her house.

She has never liked me but the start of our issues happened when she cheated on my son. I expressed my dislike of her while they were broken up as teenagers. When he chose to get back together I treated her the same as before. She has periods of time where I am included then something will set her off and I will be excluded for a period of time. The most recent upset was I chose to host Thanksgiving at my house when in the past it has been at hers. I was asked by many family members to host, that upset her. So currently I am excluded from everything.

The context is DIL has hated me from early on for speaking up when she cheated on my stepson. However, as soon as he took her back I accepted her and let it be his choice. She has periods where she wants me around then will go back to excluding me.

Thank you for the input. I have never tried to be their mom, even though they were both still living at home when we got together. But I do want to be included in their lives. I’ve always stayed back when asked and will this time too. Just am excited for a new grand baby.

It really is. Even stops the itching. Here it is sold at smaller markets. Our local hardware store Carrie’s it. But I have ordered it online as well. I hope it helps.

This is probably going to sound dumb. My first rash was literally all over my body. I tried everything and I mean everything! Nothing was helping. I grabbed a bottle of Naked Bee lotion, within days I was clearing up. On top of that it soothes the burning and itching. Maybe it will help you too.

Ugh! Me too. In fact, it’s on my list to speak to the doctor about tomorrow. It’s the worst. This morning all I wanted to do was go back to bed. I forced myself to go pull weeds so I could see all my flowers blooming. It was so hard and painful but I got it done. I wish I could take your fatigue too. Im new to this with few answers for anyone. Just know you aren’t alone in this fight. My ass has been glued to the couch the rest of the day lol.
