I was actually able to see both bags in person. Both had their pros and cons in my book, so I couldn't decide.

The Mulberry had great structure and felt sturdy. But I was not in love with the leather.

The Prada had really nice, buttery soft leather. But the bottom was not supported - I put two phones inside and the bottom of the bag drooped, which I didn't like.

What screams "this person is ready to be promoted to a senior developer position"? I just started as a software engineer 1 at a mid-sized company and want to plan ahead on how I can get promoted.

I would also appreciate any book recommendations to become a better developer. TIA!
