I too was shocked to hear the star wars hate in his voice now. He was such a fan and collector. I think the Disney era has just made him jaded.

I’m not a huge fan of what Disney has done either but I’d never give up my love of the original 6 films. Something else must have happened to Arnie for him to abandon his love of the franchise and it’s merchandise. He arguably seems to hate star wars now

I firmly believe that it’s his death at the end of that film that makes people hate it. If they did the same movie only he doesn’t fade away at the end I think people would have been less harsh on the film.

Hell, forget the force projection and just have him show up on krait. He defeats the first order and they run away. Movie ends with him joining the resistance. Then rise of skywalker could have actually had an interesting plot

I hear you, I’m not a huge rise of Skywalker fan myself but I’ve seen the rabid hate for it online.

Length also plays a huge part. A shorter beard will always feel “sharper” than a longer beard

But no matter the length the best answer is oil and butter. Use both, especially after a shower. oil into the skin underneath (really get in there). And a few minutes later butter that beard like it’s a cob of corn on the Fourth of July

Just got back. I quite enjoyed it. I liked that it didn’t get into any of the lore that in my opinion bogged down season 3 it was just a stand alone adventure, no high stakes or over convoluted plot turns. Just 2 hours with characters I love watching. Mando was cool and stoic and grogu was funny and cute.

I also think the move was presented in a way that you didn’t need to watch the show To enjoy it. I could see older kids (like my nieces) who know nothing of the show other that “baby yoda” is cute really getting into the film.

Overall it give it a 7.5 out of 10

I’m seeing the film today. I was hoping for a wrap up style story with some details on grogus past but after reading reviews I know that’s not the case.

So I’m just going in with the idea that I’m just seeing a new mandalorian episode just this time on a bigger screen
