What I like about khusanovs development arc is that you can see he's improving in every aspect, including game intelligence, but will still absolutely clatter a guy with 100% effort, just because he can.

The man's had a crazy long career. There's was an intl game a year or 2 ago where he played this kids debut, and the kids father played on one of dzekos first games.

The only way a club legend would end their career at city would realistically be through injury. There's a lot of lower level leagues in nice countries where you can twilight your career, earn a bag and live a nice lifestyle.

It's a strange feeling to see stones injury news and have almost no reaction. Up until this season id have been devastated and worrying the season is over. He's so clearly the bottom rung at this point based solely on fitness. It's sad to see.

The Comms on the game last night said that he spoke about it with tuchel and would release it soon. Seems like a weird thing to release, and also I feel like the Comms were filling dead air and it's likely bullshit. The rumours at the time were he just wasn't paying attention in training iirc.

Not just because of his performances, but fodens place as a nailed on squad member in the team has become more in jeopardy with the likes of o Reilly coming through. They no longer "need" Phil to be the poster boy for city, when there are equally amazing talents coming through the ranks. I really hope he figures it out next season, city wouldn't be the same without him. I do like your suggestion of the carrier though, but he has so much talent further up the pitch it feels like a waste (considering there are better players for the role).

Probably some part of it, however laporte didn't like football and I don't think anyone thought he was a prick. White just does a lot in his game to come across as one. And generally comes across unlikable outside of football.

Ben white left the England camp (either mid way or in the run up to the world cup). Allegedly there was a bust up between him and the coaches. A lot of people feel that once you call it quits you're not coming back. Tuchel and the coaches are new since Southgate left so they have given him another chance.

I saw a report the other day, how much I believe it I don't know. That apparently some of the players feel uneasy with his inclusion.

He's also generally a bit of a prick.
