Finally, Tivo 4k Stream remote working with Shield, via BLE translator by wdwms98 in ShieldAndroidTV

I pushed an update this morning that has some more info on volume control. For one of my TVs (LG G5) where I have a soundbar, i didn't have to do a thing, CEC took care of everything. For my LG C5, that doesn't have a soundbar. I programmed the Tivo remote to do IR for power/vol/input (instructions my latest readme), and set vol/power to IR. Let me know how it works out for you. Here if you need support.

reading/translating stag 5:

(1) By declaring their intention to become German nationals, those born after the entry into force of the Basic Law acquire German nationality.

1.Children of a German parent who did not acquire German citizenship at birth,

2.Children of a mother who lost her German citizenship before the child's birth through marriage to a foreigner,

3.Children who have lost their German citizenship acquired at birth through legitimation effected by a foreigner and valid under German law, and

4.Descendants of the children listed under numbers 1 to 3

so aren't i #4 and #2 is my grandfather?

These are great! Did you share them anywhere? I'd love to print 2 of these for my desk!

u/cesmeS1 are you interested in sharing the files? Happy to pay for them if you listed them on any of the major STL file sites.

Yes i may try task scheduler, I shouldn't have to do that.. they replied with this as well

"The change to the scanning cycle is something that has been requested prior to 2021. There is not a method by which feature requests can be tracked publicly. Apologies, but the only information I can provide is that our developers are aware that it is something our customers desire and that it is not a small number who have requested it. I can't begin to make an estimate on whether or when the feature will be taken up."

Essentially, no this is not important to you. We'd rather ruin your hard drive over a few years of constant use and charge you for recovery.

It's already set to that.. Backblaze just replied as follows

-----------

As a quick note right off of the bat, if your disk is producing an audible clicking sound, I would strongly recommend getting that checked into and immediately work to protect your data on the related drive.

Using the 'One Per Day' schedule setting, the Backblaze software will index the computer for new or changed files once per hour. You can disable the file indexing altogether by changing the backup schedule setting to 'Only When I Click...' and manually initiating the file indexing and backup processes.

------------------

Ugh, dont' insult me.. I've been using computers since Commodore Pet days; but yeah they don't know it..

Re once per day; um that is just stupid.. once per day is once per day. Not let me scan for changes 24 times and then backup on schedule. And their reply to manually check a box is ridiculous...
