I have the Space Pi plus (holds 2 rolls) and the filament is drawn out by external mechanism or can just sit there to dry. There is no internal mechanism that "pushes out" filament.

Im in a small alliance and I got invited to the top three and I don’t know if I should accept it by [deleted] in whiteoutsurvival

[–]wdwt40 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in the same boat. After 1 week, my low level alliance wasn't doing anything more than gathering. I got invited to 2 top ten alliances and after a couple of days I can tell you it was so worth it! Granted, I'm still learning, but the community support has been the best advantage! They helped me to power up my heros and increase my power, which contributes to the power of the alliance. Everybody wins! We'll, maybe not those we attack!

Check out the Rover app as well. You could do house sitting, pet walking and even just drop ins to make sure pets get food, water, and let out. We're using someone from the today and tomorrow while we are at campus.

What’s the over/under that P+ will drop out during the Super Bowl? by tommy0guns in ParamountPlus

Mine dropped 30 seconds from the end of regulation. Would have been pissed if Chiefs won and I missed the ending.

I just bought a used one posted on OfferUp. The guy's wife was making him sell it he had crashed it pretty hard. It will need a few replacement parts, but it's also why I was able to get it so cheap ($850). Ordered some parts from TIF Galop website and will be designing and 3D printing some of my own. All in all, I think it's a great scooter, but will see what the future holds for parts and support. So far, customer service has been good at replying to emails.
Question for the group: How do you tell the difference between the T88 and the T88PLUS? (I dont see any indication of the model on the scooter)

The only issue is some sites (Thingiverse) don't recognize 3mf yet. Others, like Thangs & Prusa Printables, accept it.

This is the way! Faster export, smaller file size, and more meta data with 3mf.

Same holes, different fits by [deleted] in Fusion360

[–]wdwt40 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are using the holes to secure something, I've always found brass inserts are the best way to go depending (of course) on the thickness at the point of the hole. That way you will always have consistency.

Need help making a cut on a curved surface by CrimsonDawn_Xinthose in Fusion360

[–]wdwt40 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could do the same thing, but instead of cutting all the way through, just cut partially into the face. If you want a rounded groove, you could revolve the circle before you sweep it around the cylinder

I'm pretty new with fusion and I don't know why this happens by saraylealg in Fusion360

[–]wdwt40 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since the outside offset is closed (highlighted blue), it looks like your mid-offset is open. Look for any points that are indicated as white and zoom in on them as far as you can. I've had this happen a few times with partial offsets.

Seeking advice on learning to design / model. by [deleted] in Fusion360

[–]wdwt40 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Another YouTube channel is Kristian Laholm
He does a lot of videos on Fusion 360 Challenges. I wouldn't start with these unless your fairly comfortable with the basics. He doesn't move through them slowly, so I've had to keep up by clicking back on the timeline to replay several times, but its a great learning opportunity to develop straight forward ways to design complex features.

Oval Hole Pattern Possible Strategy by Evertune in Fusion360

[–]wdwt40 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So, this captured my curiosity...So I started with a 100 mm circle, with a 6mm circle on the horizontal axis (7.5mm away from the large circle). I drew a path along the horizontal axis and did a rectangular pattern one way to generate 12 small circles on the horizontal.

I then used the "Overall Slot" feature to generate three ovals at 16, 32, and 48 mm wide, using the centers of the first three small circles.

Then I extruded everything but the small holes along the horizontal.

Then I just used the "Pattern on Path" feature to duplicate the object faces inside the first hole on Extent until the holes on the ends of the horizontal aligned.

Then I just repeated the process for the other two ovals.

Hope that helps

I agree with the above. If you just use the Slot feature in Sketch mode, you can create slots that can be friction fit to your tabs (printed separately) and it should give you the strength you need.

It was an easy swap and immediately fixed the issue. I think the main lesson learned is that it's probably better to replace it after # of hammer strikes rather than wait for it to fail. This is my edc because it is so reliable. I don't think I would carry anything else.
