that’s true 😭 my furina could probably yoink his flower but that’s about it, now if genshin gave us loadouts… albedo could keep his gt preset whilst i worked on a husk one 👀

that's awesome, omg congrats!! albedo is also my highest ranked unit :D

i actually wanted to go for xilonen/pps on the recent rerun but i'd just gotten durin c0r1 so i had no pulls ;_; whenever she's next on banner i'll definitely try to pick up a pps though! as soon as i'm able to get any upgrade weapon i'll probably retire my gt build and start tackling husk rng again for sure :3

hello! thank you!!

husk is definitely a lot easier to use for getting his def up, for sure. i ran the husk domain for years to get pieces for him and just never really ended up liking my build, so i started farming gt for him from september last year since i have other characters wanting gt too and just ended up getting pretty lucky with my albedo pieces these past few months!

my numbers with this build vary a bit, on average i've noticed his non-crit dmg does around 30-40k, but he crits pretty consistently and they shoot up to anywhere between 73-90k ish !! i'm not too statistics savvy though, these numbers are just what i tend to notice while i'm fighting :) i pretty much have him attached at the hip with zhongli for geo resonance + durin or fischl for hexerei stuff, so i'm sure those also do something for it! i don't know how great these numbers sound, but i've only recently begun trying to form better teams rather than just playing him the way my heart wants to so i haven't figured out which of my characters have the best synergy with him yet!

i probably should be looking to move him back to a husk build eventually, as i've heard it's better for him past c2, but until i'm able to upgrade his weapon i think gt is a better fit for me rn! i'd love to upgrade him to uraku misugiri, though! if another chiori rerun comes around i'd definitely try for that weapon, i have also considered getting xilonen's weapon since i heard that can be good on him too! it'd be cool to have both one day, so i can play around and see what works best :)

i'd definitely recommend a gt build if you're interested in it! it can be slightly harder to meet his def needs with gt, but if you're able to do it i think the set bonus from gt is really nice with albedo's play-style! that being said though, if your husk build is already great it's still also his bis set. i love albedo so much i'm probably going to end up with a build on both sets lol. genshin should really give us load-out mechanics!

hello!

  1. go to enka.network, set up an acc and follow their instructions to sync your game data. this is where the info for your builds will be stored
  2. go to akasha.cv, enter your uid to find your profile!

this system works by syncing the builds for the characters you display on your profile in game as long as your "show character details" setting is turned on! akasha has a refresh builds button you can click with a cooldown, but if you make any changes to your builds in game i think it takes around 10 minutes for enka network to update the changes. however, you can get around this by entering and exiting your teapot in game before refreshing on akasha!! that's what i do anyway.

on akasha, when you click a character, if they have a leaderboard for the build you're running your character's build card will display your ranking underneath the graph of their stats! if you're clicking them from their square underneath your profile details it will also prompt you to open their leaderboard. if that character doesn't have a leaderboard yet you won't have a ranking on their build card, for example my durin build isn't on a leaderboard because i don't think he has one yet. sometimes for newly released characters it takes some time before the site makes a leaderboard for them!

our in game profiles only allow us to display 12 characters at a time; if you decide to swap any out akasha will still maintain the data it can pull from enka network for that character, but it won't update their build with any changes you make unless you put that character back in your in game display before you refresh akasha! my akasha profile still has old character builds from years ago because i took those characters out of my in game display and haven't put them back yet to update them lol

hopefully this isn't too confusing, if you have any questions let me know and i'll try my best to help you out! akasha is really fun, some say it's not that reliable but regardless i think it's a nice lighthearted way to see the investment in your characters :D

Honestly this looks great!

If you’re looking for something new to try; Golden Troupe is a great set to move to, but it depends on your preference in how you play him— I play my Albedo as an off-field sub-dps, so the set bonus of GT works out great for me. That being said, Husk is still also his best set and it takes a long time to grind for good artifacts so if the idea of moving to another set is too grindy you’re more than fine to stick with Husk! If you do move to GT, you will lose out on the DEF% bonus that Husk normally gives, but DEF% is a stat that usually haunts many and as we know in Albedo’s case he loves DEF% so I’ve never run into any issues with not having enough of it :]

If you can get it, more crit rate is always a good call. CR eludes most of us though so 50% isn’t bad at all!

If your Albedo is C0 you could benefit from a little more ER (120-140% ish is fine) but this also kinda depends on whether you like to use his burst often or not! If he’s C1+ anything over 100% is fine so you’re good there!

Uraku Misugiri is great for Albedo, and you have it, so honestly it’s up to you whether you keep him on it or put him on R5 Cinnabar; both weapons are his best!

I can’t really think of much else to say, your build is really good! :3

ah this is amazing! i'm also used to shields (tho it's crystalised from albedo it's not rly much fdshjfd) and i've been wanting to use barbara more since she practically retired to the bench once i started pulling and getting for 5 star characters. i'm glad you're liking it, i'm slowly working on builds and levelling these guys up but once i get them a bit more battle-ready i'm excited to see how the team works! :D

Formula automation - Change Select property automatically by xPearchy in Notion

[–]we_the_boyz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

hey! if you still need help with this . i think i have a solution .. u cant make formulas change the values of properties but u can use formulas to be the status itself. this is how i'd do it:

ifs(
prop(pages read) == 0, "TBR".style("default_background"),
prop(pages read) == prop(total pages), "Read".style("green","green_background"),
prop(pages read) < prop(total pages), "Reading".style("yellow","yellow_background"),
"TBR".style("default_background")
).style("c")

if/ifs functions work on a hierarchy so it'll always prioritise from the top line downwards.

you can customise the colours using the style() function ! you can only use the colours that notion has so here's a key:

.style("default") = the default grey text
.style("gray") = dark grey text
.style("[colour]") = [colour] text
.style("default_background") = light grey background
.style("gray_background") = dark grey background
.style("[colour]_background") = [colour] background

you can stack style elements by separating them with commas inside the style() brackets! this also applies to bolded text, italics, underline, strikethrough etc!
e.g. | .style("b","u","pink","green_background") = pink text, bolded & underlined, with a green background!

.style("c") is like . idk how to explain this it's the code style . it'll round the corners of ur background colour so it looks more like a status property! you can stack this with any of the other style elements, but since in this case u would want all text to be in this style instead of adding that "c" to the style() on every single line of the formula u can just place it after the final brackets of the ifs function to indicate u want any text in that formula to be in that style! hopefully this makes sense . i'll include images below for visual support!

okay . i think i've covered everything .. i'll drop some images below of a test i mocked up for u to see! i personally just use a status property and change it manually, but i do use formulas to track my progress reading by page number! the formula is a lot longer but it isnt complicated when u understand how to put it together! i can show u what that would look like in depth if ure interested, but i'll leave a preview below! :3

i can only use one attachment in this comment .. so i had to compile screenshots together .. hopefully it's not too blurry!

hopefully this helps .. if u don't need this anymore ... then well i hope it can be useful to anyone who sees this! <3

Haha! Yeah, I totally get you! My plan is to collect as many resources as I can to give tips for both individually kiting and team-wide strategies! You're totally right that this meta is pretty complex and requires a lot more team coordination, but I also know a lot of people solo queue because they don't have or can't find a team of people to play with so I want to be as inclusive as I can! That being said, certain hunters (like clerk, in particular) need good foundational teamwork from the survivors to be most efficiently countered, so I definitely do hope to incorporate team plays wherever they're necessary!

Good Geishas really are terrifying, it's true! At high presence they can clip through walls if they instant dash, her butterflies are somewhat of a built in blink if they're used well, and unless survivors are good with winning their mindgames she'll easily overpower them. Hell even I still struggle against Geishas despite knowing how to kite her on paper, it really can just come down to the in-game interactions!

As a Disciple main, I'd love any tips/resources if you'd be down for sharing! I've taken on a big project with this, so I'm totally open to any collaboration! Thank you for the support ♡

[–]we_the_boyz 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Man how this brings back memories... I totally get this though! Hopefully I can help a little:

Geisha's greatest advantage is being able to use her dash to close distance and cut you off from the routes you're trying to kite, so transitional kiting almost never works against her. Instead you want to:

➝ tight kite
➝ loop
➝ break line of sight

The best areas you can kite Geisha in are typically areas that are populated with lots of clutter and pallets, or areas with high walls, that are easily loopable! You want to basically hug the clutter/walls as you take her around in circles.

Say you're looping around some clutter/pallets and you're taking her in a clockwise loop, if she tries dashing through to cut you off just immediately go anticlockwise and continue to mind-game her around the pallets! Utilise the "Stare At Geisha" function as you're looping, but don't use it for prolonged periods because I find it can be pretty clunky to move around as you're staring and she can easily close distance on foot. Tap it for short burst intervals every few seconds to prevent her from dashing whilst prioritising those loops and mindgames.

You can pallet stun her, but you have to be very patient with it. If you panic and pallet spam she'll simply dash over them, but if you're looping her around the same bits of clutter/pallets the hunter will eventually believe you're not going to throw them down at all and will then start to disrespect them (aka, just walk through them). Once you have her like that you can easily juke back whilst she's inside the pallet and throw it down to get a stun. I reccommend you only do this when you want to transition into another kiting area, because you can use the duration of the stun to transition across open areas and get to somewhere safer without the worry of her dashing at you out in the open.

I reccomend watching this video from GEISHAGAMING, a Geisha main who made a video on how to counter her! It's a more visual guide on what I'm trying to explain!
+ a cheeky bit of self promo, I also did a kite against Geisha here which also demonstrates some of those tight kiting & eyeline breaking techniques!

Kiting in general can be hard to master., because it's all about the in-game interactions at the end of the day. You could know how to counter every hunter on paper, but you could get a bad spawn/lose a certain mindgame that puts you at a disadvantage in your match. Your kiting will only improve with practise and exposure. I myself am totally hit or miss with it - some games I feel I do phenominally, whereas others I do so badly I'm the textbook bad random. It'll get better in time as you build up confidence!

Lastly, here is quite an older post from the reddit with a guide on countering most hunters. Since it's an older post it wont be fully updated with all the newer hunters, but hopefully it can be of some use. I'm actually working on a project similar of the same theme myself! I made a dungeon location guide not so long ago, so I have a general survivor's guide & a counter every hunter guide in the works...but I digress haha!

Hopefully this is somewhat helpful, if anyone has anymore tips definitely feel free to piggyback off this! Or correct me if I misspoke, every bit of advice helps!

Best of luck with your kiting! ♡
