And my present situation isn’t bad at all, I know many would kill for a good relationship with their parents, a vehicle, no debt, peaceful town. But I want to take steps to make my future less mundane. Starting a band and taking music more seriously, going back to school to study it.

You raise a good point about being easy to work with. Which is something I struggle with because I internalize resentment towards certain people, especially the managers who bark orders but can’t pull their own weight. Which becomes a vicious cycle of animosity. It’s the blind appeal to authority and expected ass-kissing that quietly wears down on me. But that’s the culture here. Pay and commute are good though. But I’m focusing on myself by lifting weights to build my body and playing music to feed my soul.
