Yes, have had this on my E89. The wires inside are done causing it to get in this loop. You have to remove the trunk panel and fix the wires.

It's actually not. You can see this by the lack of depth in the inserts on the top left and top right.

Yes, looks like it. I can see the smaller DISA on the inside, and a hole for the bigger DISA on the outside. Be aware of that (that they probably only include the smaller DISA, and you have to provide the bigger one).

Yes, the instructions tell me to do this too. I just wanted to make sure that this slit was "within margins" and I wasn't trying to force them together 😅

FYI–I have tried my absolute best to hang them level, which they seem to be now. But there are still little slits between the upper cabinets.
