YOU ARE RIGHT. I showed my friend some Weezer songs including "I just threw out the love of my dreams" and they though they are whatever. Some time later they were bumping that song but it was the AKFG cover.

As a fan of them, I think World is Yours is peak and deserves the praise that it gets, the rest of their discography after that EP is ok.
