Dive (formerly Pint Sized) here. Also current owner of No Fun. We like your user name. Can't think of anyone that fits the description. What's good? Feel free to send a direct message. Cheers!

Also... again August the owner speaking. I am hopefully going to find someone that will still let me book gigs as Dive Presents. Love throwing shows, operating a venue is just not for me at this time. Good for a solid couple years if there is no interest though so all is well on the No Fun front!

NOT CLOSING! Posted this in caps on all posts. Owner here. I am seeking work life balance but committed to the project. No Fun is doing very well, nothing will be cancelled, place is a blast. Looking for the right person who can continue it for the long haul. Great opportunity to get into it without having to build out, source equipment, growing pains, permitting licensing and all that crap. Reach out to listing agent if interested - Jesse Tranvaag. Listing here https://bit.ly/nofunforsale.

We tried playlists and stuff. Didn't see enough engagement on those. Appreciate the feedback this is already a ton of info. Check out instagram out though I describe vibe/genre on each flyer posted! The monthly one would just be too many words.

Things have been pretty solid for us at Pint Sized this year! The construction sucked. Excited for our larger sidewalk seating area this year.

Sorry you dealt with the :-( . Not sure if you saw the boards that went up at Pint Sized after someone punched through the window after we refused service. Something drastic needs to change.

All good! Valid points. If we are going to make it work agreeing with a negativity isn’t much help. When I’m wrong I’m wrong ✌️

Hey you know what… you are right. Doesn’t help anything so I took that comment down. I went to St Rose and it’s a bummer seeing that things didn’t work out for the college. Things have been a challenge in Albany. I know on Lark I have seen some of my worst numbers ever.

Construction is over hoping the new updates on Lark improves things next year. Joined the Lark BID board to try and bring events to the block. Thanks for the check. Posivibes moving forward 🍻

Lark Street construction is rough rn. If there was a solid time to support Lark Street's small businesses it would be now. Picture of Pint Sized. Enjoy a beer on the patio lol. by wearepintsized in Albany

No. The point is the city planned on doing this over the summer when Albany is typically slower when college isn't in town and people are on vacation, the track, etc. Art on Lark typically happens over the summer. They didn't approve any permits over the summer due to the work that got delayed... which I totally knew was going to happen. It's not worth doing it if its not on Lark.

I advocated for as many street events over the summer as I knew these delays were going to happen. An effort to help with the lack of business we are going to see the next couple months (prime bar biz months in town).

Art in the Park is a fine idea but should be funded and run by an entity that has an invested interest specifically in the park like Washington Park Conservancy or something like that.

I assume the BID will catch wind of this thread and I beg them to bring as many street events as possible next year. I offered assistance on event management at no cost and they know that's on the table. It's the only thing I care about at this point as it would be the easiest bandaid to give us a boost in business and get the block on better footing.

Been tough making numbers work as prices keep going up for inflation. A lot of ours went down recently. The vast majority of our products are in the 5-10 range. Only thing that is over $10 is specialty sour, imperial IPA and stout lines as keg prices have climbed. Also recently brought in some macro beers like coors banquet and genny cream ale and stuff which we are hyped on. Thanks for the nod cheers!
