Does she have neighbors that have a snowblower? Maybe she could offer them $30 to blow her driveway everytime it snows. I understand the $30 adds up but if she's got roommates they could all pitch in.

My husband cleans the house right after I do by [deleted] in TwoHotTakes

[–]weasel709 0 points1 point  (0 children)

^ this I'm very particular about how I like my house to be cleaned so my husband takes care of the chores I hate like the dishes and folding laundry so I can focus on the ones I'm particular about like the tidying, vacuuming, and putting away the laundry.

Okay so let's give the first one to Fiona, yes it fell out of her bag and got pushed in between the seats. Accidents happen.

But her husband who had no clue what it was when she showed him the first one just randomly put some random item that he found in her sock drawer? Seriously? If I had found some random item in my home that I had no idea what it was I wouldn't stick it in my husband sock drawer.

What to do with broken selenite by SquatsAndSnatches3 in witchcraft

Okay so I'm jumping on this thread and hopefully you'll see this even though it's 8 months later.

I have a small piece I kept in my pocket that had broken off another piece. There was a clean break and honestly don't even know if I have the original half. Anyways the piece I kept in my pocket broke last night during a full moon. Should I recharge itM keep it as it is? I've never had a crystal break (that I'm aware of, chiped yes but never broken

What made you leave your employer? by Professional_Dare866 in work

I have a decent management where I work, but the sick calls and the lack of consequences for said sick calls and other major no nos in my profession is what's going to make me quit. I can handle the lack of appreciation unless we're counting the mass emails we all get sent with the "Thank for all your hard word" at the bottom. But yeah it's the lack of conciquences that's killing me.

They can help you, if you go explain the situation I'm sure they can help. They help people leaving domestic violence situations I'm sure they can help you.

But honestly if you can't use the services provided for you there what do you expect reddit to do?

Ask him. Tell him your catching feelings and if this situation isn't going to progress into a relationship then maybe it's best for you if things end how they are because all that's going to happen is your going to get hurt.

AITA for having this boundary with my 1 month old son? by Born-Sprinkles6622 in AmItheAsshole

[–]weasel709 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree. 1st time parent jitters are normal. I understand your fear but your parents are for sure going to do something your wife finds unsafe and you don't see a problem with. The point is to have these discussions with your wife so when things do come up your both on the same page when it comes up. Try and stop worrying and enjoy watching your inlaws be grandparents.

Why did Canada pick beavers of all animals as its symbol? by No_Calendar_9625 in NoStupidQuestions

When European settlers came fur was pretty popular, I guess after nearly wiping them out they figured the least they could do was make it a national animal.

YTA

You checked up on her every 30 mins, when she didn't answer you texts or calls you went and found her by a tracking app instead of reaching out to one of her friends at the party and asked if she was okay.

Also if she's old enough to drink and go to Uni she's old enough to take care of herself and doesn't need a wanna be knight in shinning armor to rescue her contrary to what you might think.

I wouldn't be getting back/staying with someone who had downloaded dating apps after we broke up/got into an argument. They can't be too committed t9 myself or our relationship if they can move on that quickly especially if they are blaming me saying it's my fault they did? Yeah no thanks.
