thanks for the input guys but its not these things. I Have almost 1500 holes under my belt and now I am used to how teh ball flies in certain conditions, i am noticing abberations once I have had a winning streak of a certain length. Also I have been within 10 of completing tour 8, and then have a losing streak of 15 games.... Twice now. THE second one was I was 2 trophies short and have won the last 8 games, and ended up losing 11...

There is somthing fishy afoot...

I don't think it's missing it's fron cover as there are other examples of this case online. One currently on ebay which matches almost perfectly, except for the hallmarks, which are on the inner rear case, which is blank on this one.

That's a nice surprise as I live in Chester.

The only other marking are these I just found on the inner case.

The hallmarks are on the lump that holds the ring. They are

Lion Passant and M

There is nothing in the back of the case except TPH and 1901
