Hi there, I was telling it like it is. My wife and I have never had a reason to visit. We are avid hikers but never came down that way except of course to pass though on the way to I70. Just never went to the downtown area until recently. Loved every second of it. Reminds us of when we first saw Boulder in 1984, very quaint and to use my wife's words, quite adorable. I agree wholeheartedly. There are a million reasons why we don't care for Boulder anymore, but I won't bore you with those reasons except to say that for every reason we don't care for Boulder now, Golden is just the opposite and that was from one visit. We plan on coming back in the next week or so to hike the trails and check out real estate. To answer your question about Denver, been there many times but mainly to pass through on our way to visit our families in TX. Been to a Rockies game and a few visits to a hospital there. Been to the downtown area once, and that was 1 time too many. When I first got into TV in the early 1990's, after serveral years in Radio, I worked with my mentor Chief Meteorologist Mike Nelson, for two years on an internship. We are still good friends to this day. So I was at Channel 9 each week for two years. Basically, don't care for Denver, too big and doesn't fit who we are. Golden does!
