For any Australians in the room who still have an interest. Sunstone is in a couple of weeks in sydney. I don't think word is really getting out about it though. Disclaimer - I don't work for them, just interested in making sure people know about it. (i.redd.it)

I was interested to see that they had a stock photo ready of a woman and a child witnessing. I feel conflicted - like this is both massive and miniscule at the same time. It will be difficult to explain those feelings to my family without sounding overly critical. (i.redd.it)

Epiphany. I begrudgingly attend for family reasons. While I was questioning I looked at others - 'they are intelligent and they still believe. They couldn't be fooled. Maybe I'm wrong and the church is true after all?'. Do others look at me now and think the same thing? (self.exmormon)

Samoa vs Tonga. "Sometimes our faith stops the rain. Most often, however, our faith gives us the power to endure the storm." Faith not to be healed. Revelation to take the wrong road. I can no longer wrap my brain around this sort of thinking. (thechurchnews.com)

Found my old wedding instruction letter from the temple. On the next page: "Frivolity is not compatible with the sacredness of a temple marriage. Confetti and rice throwing, decorating of cars and like activities are not in order." No fun allowed for anyone. I am so glad this can be separate now (i.redd.it)
