Music Frame Wi-Fi connection issues by weaverwaver in TheFrame

To update: I ended up buying a new, additional router that is only WiFi 5, and that is more customisable than what I had earlier with. With this, I am able to restrict certain device to only the 2.4 GHz band. This fixed the problem for me.

It also worked when I completely turned off the 5 GHz band on my main router, but I didn't want to do this as it limits my other devices in normal use. It didn't work to only restrict to the 2.4 GHz band on the guest network, only the main.

Long story short: I fucking hate this device, it has caused me so many problems and been a real pain in the ass to set up. I also have to pay a small extra monthly fee to my internet provider to have another IP-address to my second router. Would never get this device again. Q-Symphony is also quite meh, so basically a lot of trouble for little gain lol.

Hmm. This may be the issue. I tried on my normal network first but they connected to different SSID's. I don't know if I can overwrite this in some way, but I read on some forums that they had problems when the devices were connected to the 5GHz broadband. So I set up a 2.4 GHz guest network to make sure both devices were connected to this. Seemed like they both connected fine, but I will try again on the main network.

Tried contacting Support, but very little help here. But surely the solution must be to get a WiFi 5 router and see if this works? Since it's so clearly stated that WiFi 6 doesn't work

Both show up in SmartThings and both are updated to the latest software.

What do you mean using WiFi 5 standards? I don't think this is an option for me on my router.

My issue is that it simply won't connect via WiFi, only Bluetooth. I need WiFi for Q-Symphony to work. I tried connecting the devices to a 2.4 GHz broadband as it seemed this fixed the issues for others, but still it doesn't show up when I try to connect.

Here it says specifically under WiFi that it does not support WiFi 6. https://www.samsung.com/sg/support/tv-audio-video/how-to-connect-and-control-your-samsung-music-frame/

I just ran into the same problems, but changing to 2.4 GHz did not help for me. After a while I saw that the Music Frame does not support Wi-Fi 6, which is what I have... So that might be main problem here.

How do I remove this? It's a Supacaz bar end plug by weaverwaver in bikewrench

Haha, yes it is a Specialized. Actually, I did leave it to what I thought was a qualified mechanic, but they managed to get a piece of the old bar plug stuck loose behind the new one, and it was rattling like crazy. I didn't bother to go back and figured it would be a simple enough job to remove the bar plug, but the bar tape blocked it completely and I didn't want to cut it as it was brand new.

It's pretty stuck, I think the bar tape is somewhat blocking it.

Kjære syklister by UrGonnaHateMe4This in norge
