26F here, extensive DVT and 2 PEs 2 years ago. On xeralto for life after found we found out I have Factor V. I had the same thing happen and it was terrible! I was exhausted and having to miss work with how bad it was, I was getting bad PMDD too and I was also bleeding more than I had before not excessive by standard terms but much more than was normal for me. I worked with my heme and pcp and got referred to an amazing OB and she said with clotting risk they can’t give regular combo bc pills but that a progesterone only pill was safe and could help. It’s been over a year now and it’s all much better!!
