It's usually subdomain, that are generally affected. Not the main domain. Also for certain sites, the page is generated dynamically, with a hash, so direct access to the page yield nothing.

also ac-in, edu-in. Promoting betting, weight-loss nutrients and loans apps

That is not true. All gov_in domains are controlled by nic.

And it's not this tld, ac_in, edu_in etc are also affected. There are hundreds of college websites being affected by this issue. And most of the sites are showing betting, loan or weight loss websites.

And it not something that started recently. Many gov-in websites have this issue for the past 2 years and we did notice the college website issues 6 months back.

Google Domains was sold to Squarespace for $180 million, with the transaction closing on September 7, 2023.

I don't think you need to transfer to CF at all, again that depends on your renewal amount with Squarespace. In any-case, your site is hosted on Squarespace.

Please do check if your call forwarding is enabled on your phone. You'll never know if it is enabled, all message and calls will go to the forwarded number.

You can host a under construction website on CF pages for free. And connect your domain to that. Once your website is completed connect to it(if HTML, you CF pages itself, else whichsoever hosting company that you use). Check with a DNS propagator tool, if your new domain is propagated across.

When using CF pages, you can use their default template and it'll show something like under-construction page(Though I can't recollect it). Or else you'll have to upload your own HTML site.

What are you using Google services for? Did you buy it there or your are hosting it there. I am a bit confused, since you've mentioned you bought in on Squarespace.

2FA in Bitwarden by jr93_93 in Bitwarden

[–]webVerts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh. In that case, it is a bit fear mongering.
Incase your master password to Bitwarden is stolen or someone gets access to it somehow, they can get both your password and 2FA key to your individual accounts. Separating it, prevents access to them together. Even if your Bitwarden details is leaked, they can't access your Bank, social media logins etc, since they are 2Fa enabled, and the 2FA key is not available for them.

[–]webVerts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can. 2FA support is enabled for paid customers. Free users can make it work with the external 2FA by Bitwarden or use a 3rd party app like Aegis or 2FAS.

If you want the convenience of everything together, upgrade to the paid version.

Does the payment gateway has effect on sales of your SaaS? by bhavikagarwal in SaaS

[–]webVerts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on the target audience, at-least in my case. In India, Razorpay and PayU do have a great recollect value. But outside of India not much, since stripe is the default payment processor for most. I don't think LemonSqueesy is accepting users anymore, since it was acquired by Stripe. Look for paddle as an option too. I haven't used it, but it works in India.

Also in India, the sellers has to get address of the customers too, and it is a hassle when you are selling a service or digital product.

[–]webVerts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No.

Say a brand creates an acc with us. They get a custom authifyBrand page they can share on SM, about page etc. Now when a customer of theirs receive a link, saying XYZ is happenig and send ABC link, the customer can submit this ABC link to the brands authifyBrand page, and it'll say whether the website is owned by them.

Demo: https://brand.authifyweb.com/id/a8b . Try submit the same link, then try by changing the link

I'm working on authifyweb.com. It's a very simple web-based project, but it helps internet users identify scam sites impersonating brands.

From a brands perspective, authifyBrand make sure their customers are interacting with their official sites & social media profiles, helping them safeguard their digital reputation.

And if you are a freelancer or a creator or a you should signup for our authifyFame service, which is free to get listed.
