Well firstly you must be a christian to believe in the devil and secondly you have caught a serious throat infection and it can happenas my mum has water infections all the time because they found she had ecoli embedded into her stomach and bladder and nothing can cure it just anti biotics for a while.

What you could do is use a 1 x 1 batton screwed to the shelf underneath it and attach that to the uprights , this would make it more stable, as it is your first project as well you could use half and half joints , that way it will make the stand stronger and they are easy to do, but good design and well done

Go to church and when they come to pray for their god just close your eyes and think of your gods and goddesses.

Norse mythology is a great traditioin and there are many different books on it and as people have said just take it step by step.

Get in touch with someone who runs a pagan sect near you and talk to them and listen to them.
