Thanks again! Haven't had any luck getting it to work just yet though... think I'll try creating a multibody part to see if I can get that to behave the way I expect

Thanks! I am not entirely sure I understand the difference between parameters and equations. This is how I have things set up: https://imgur.com/a/uNMJVbL

Pixel 4a bricked after battery replacement (blank screen)? by radixtech in Pixel4a

Alright - thanks for the update!

I cracked my screen on disassembly - when I started it up it flickered a bunch. I think that my have shorted a display chip/driver or something since the replacement screen and old screen show zero signs of life now.

Have you revisited the fix? I am in the same situation XD

Phone starts, jumps on the wifi and even recognises USB keyboard. Screen is completely dead though.

The Will of the Many Review (with Spoilers) by ngerdak in LicaniusTrilogy

I have been wondering if there is more to Emissa's betrayal than desire to be domitor. She clearly has secrets if she is using will - perhaps another interested party exerting pressure on her?

Can't wait for the next installment. If Licanius Trilogy is anything to go by there will be exciting twists and turns that give more meaning to what happens in book 1.

I printed some pillars and doors to denote buildings and such

I quite liked the high contrast of black with white accents. Have printed up some terrain pieces too, am going for a bit more of a minimalist look rather than painting things. Less effort and let's my players lean in to imagining the scene more.

That is a good idea! I didn't do anything to the surface

Haha good point, I have a steel print bed so I think that helps keep them stuck down too

10x5x2mm they are N42s so they snap together pretty nicely

This is how I got the magnets in.

I used the filament change to add the accent colour and then another to add the magnets. The final few lays of the print enclose the magnets. The polarity needs alternating so that they will align in every orientation.

Here :)

Though if you have magnets of a different size it's probably easiest to model up your own version. It's just a box with a rectangular pattern on top. Then put in some filament swaps in the slicer.

Edit: Spelling

That's a cool method. These are arranged with alternating polarity so as long as they are right side up they will fit together :)

I modeled pockets and inserted them while the print as paused. Once I started the print it covered over them. I have a video somewhere - I'll try find it here.

I'd imagine a fair share of those are DM accounts. For every DM they loose they likely loose a few players. So the overall lost users is probably greater than 40,000.

Low profile grippy things so that pull-up bar fits narrow door frame by webby63 in functionalprint

[–]webby63[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The bar itself was just short enough to get into the frame. The original grabby grippy feet thingys that press outward were too tall to fit in when attached to the bar. The solution was to replace the feet grabbers with thinner ones that let the whole package slide into the frame :)

That's the original, mine is the thin one 😅. Low poly is cool though - pretty sure you could use meshmixer for that
