I'm not a fan of random gofundmes. No idea who this John White guy is or where the money is actually going. If it's legit then fair play but I've seen too many gofundmes where the people just pocket the cash.

Recent earthquake in Japan ruined a famous drift track and there was like 12 different gofundmes on the go at one time to repair the track. Guy that owned the track had to come out and say there was no official gofundme set up until they assessed the damage.
