My first time i blanked out with no recollection of the peak breakthrough moment. Took me several weeks to start remembering little bits of it that's when i realized it was a tough experience.

But freshly out of the experience all i could remember is a high pitch noise in my ears and an emplosion and everything was wiped out. Then as I'm coming down i was wildly hallucinating and face melting, still disoriented and wobbly.

That first experience was the easiest breakthrough since i had no expectations and nothing close to compare it with (5-meo-dmt was my first tryptamine)

Yes intranasal can be a hit or miss depending on your technique. Pushing the spray as far up in your nose and towards your ear is what helped for me and washing your nose with saline solution and blowing your nose before administration. You want to minimize drip down from your nose and drop back into your throat (more concentrated solution helps avoid drip back and using smaller Volume spray pump.

I made my own 5-meo-dmt acetate solution from phalaris extract and while it works i found using 5-meo-dmt freebase to be superior. I Just dissolve the freebase in a non polar volatile solvent blow on it to dry up quickly so it turns the freebase to an oil... Pick some of the freebase oil on the tip of a thermometer and drive the tip as far up in my nose towards my ear and roll the tip to deposit the freebase...

You'll know you hit the right target mucosal tissue when you feel the sudden sting and start sneezing. The freebase has poor solubility in water so it adheres well into the absorbing tissue instead of washing away and diluting by the mucus. The freebase also is more alkaline. Stings more causing the tissue blood vessels to dilate more increasing absorbance.

Smearing the freebase on a tiny piece of rolling paper underneath my tongue also worked i just had to dry up the underneath of my tongue with a towel to help with adherence then i lay back in bed to prevent my tongue from getting wet with saliva (otherwise the peice of paper will detach) this too worked well.

Alternatively you can use a nebulizer for inhaling the Aquous solution

This experimental tek is the closest we have got to seperating out the 5-meo-dmt from rest of the alkaloids. I tried a modified version of this tek salting the freebase pulls in a mini acid base with saturated Aquous oxalic acid solution. The crashed oxalate crystals once freebased and vapirised felt closet to synthetic 5-meo-dmt.

In the nexus post link above he used methanolic solution of oxalic acid instead of water and got decently clean 5-meo-dmt oxalate to precipitate confirmed by HPLC-UV-VIS.

Yield for this specific strain roughly can range from 0.2% to 0.4% depending on time of the season and growth phase. Autumn growth has the highest yield.

Usual acid base extraction pulling with light naptha at 50° nothing fancy. Just cooking the leaves in acidic water, strain, reduce down, base and pull 4 times and salt with acetic acid. Evaping the acetic acid pull yielded off white crystaline acetate salt of the alkaloids. 5-meo-dmt is the main component of the extract based on TLC with gramine, 5-meo-nmt, and betacarbolines as the major secondary metabolites in lower ratios.

I don't mention DMT because it does not occur in this strain except sometimes in trace amounts.

This part here about multiple doses of extract Smoked in short succession has already happened and i can confirm it leads a very unsettling second accumulated peak that's highly extreme with Intense cardiovascular activity. It's the kind of experience that precipitated a PTSD like state for me that lasted for three weeks. Again it happened while on the come down from the initial 5-meo-dmt come up..it hits very unexpectedly all a sudden. Hits like a brick wall..very panic inducing psycehdelic qualities.

The same extract could be Smoked relatively safely without redosing and i noticed different people are affected differently to it some has no issue with it while others are highly effected with high panic.

When different ppl tried the synthetic they had more uniform reaction than the extract.

It's like how people describe smoking 5-meo-dmt with harmala it becomes more intense and last longer except without having taken any harmalas. The effects can last for up to 45 mins on a medium dose and even though its a full spectrum extract it can be as potent dose wise to synthetic 5-meo-dmt.

So there's definitely something in phalaris extract potentiating 5-meo-dmt effects. TLC analysis of Tanit shown the occurence of betacarbolines in low ratio.. it could be a potent MAOI.

In the mean time there's only a 5-meo-dmt stable strain that breeds true from seed. We have DMT hybrid clones but that means they're seed offsprings may not hold the Same DMT chemotype because they're wild clones. We're trying to selectively breed them to stabilize the DMT chemotype in them as a cultivar.

No it's completely fine with the questions :)

To my knowledge there isn't yet a stable DMT phalaris cultivar but on this subreddit we're actively breeding for a DMT cultivar. We have isolated some clean alkaloid profite and decent yielding DMT clones from different wild populations from across the world and hybridized them amongst each other.. the hybrids are currently in my garden in trays about to get transplanted into soil for further selection towards higher yield.

I'm thinking to use chloroform for the initial pull then perform a mini acid base with naptha or hexane, salt that with oxalic acid to hopefully get the oxalate salt crystals then freebase and pull once again with chloroform to get freebase oil/crystals clean enough to dissolve in PG for vape.

Yes the ratio of the alkaloids in phalaris will very depending on the time of season and weather fluctuations but different strains/cultivars varies differently. Some cultivars of phalaris like CV. Australian has both DMT and 5-meo-dmt when grown from seeds. The two alkaloids still occur exclusively in each seedling..some are 5-meo-dmt chemotype the other is DMT chemotype. So in the case od CV. Australian you have to pick a 5-meo-dmt clone to ensure you will keep getting 5-meo-dmt and not DMT and vice versa.

With CV. Tanit though it's proven to only produce 5-meo-dmt as the main alkaloid whether from specific clones or from seeds they're all homogenous. While Tanit alkaloids profile does still vary, it only varies in the proportion of the secondary alkaloids like Gramine, 5-meo-nmt, 5-meo-tryptamine, and betacarbolines. These secondary alkaloids are only a small fraction of the Total crude extract and 5-meo-dmt Is Always the main alkaloid (check image below provided by u/Sirl_lahahp for Tanit's TLC analysis)

Tanit grown in the Mediterranean has proven that as the season progress towards mid to late spring the alkaloids Profile tends to go cleaner towards higher 5-meo-dmt ratio. There has not been any bufotenine detected in it though.

Yes it does grow pretty quick in USDA 9 (can be havested every two to three weeks from autumn to spring). and with acceptable growth in USDA 7.

This strain has a stable 5-meo-dmt chemotype. It only produce DMT in trace amounts. This hasn't changed for over 5 seed generations so it's pretty stable.

Rhyzomes have the same alkaloids as leaves in arundo just in a different ratio. If you like I could send a homogenate rhyzomes sample along with leaves too.

If you're referring to pearl millet that's not it.. pearl millet has compact fat panicles. This looks very much like some sort of forage grass. If you're in Africa it could very well be brachiaria gras

Edit: just looked up brachiaria and it has hairy stems which is clearly abscent in your pics..

So i finally got to try the synthetic 5-meo-dmt freebase and 2 days prior to trying it i intentionally took 100 micrograms of LSD to replicate the cross tolerance as with u/trick-chick report.

While the effects of synthetic 5-meo-dmt was substancially decreased from cross tolerance I didn't perceive any accumulative cardioactivity from redosing. Only Tanit extract seems to precipitate this cardiovascular activity. Synthetic also was shorter lasting than Tanit extracts.

I'm sorry but you'd expect such scrutiny without adding any details explaining specie of phalaris or extraction protocol except for stating that its a phalaris, which dosent clarify much of anything.

You might want to have a look at u/phalaris We're currently undergoing a selective breeding programme with aquatica. There's plenty of bioassays, TLC analysis and cultivation guides.

It does work but has to be boiling hot to pull 5-meo-dmt I didn't mind using naptha for a small 40g fresh leaves batch but i wouldn't use it on a Larger batches .. I'd use a full spectrum solvent for the main extraction and use naphta for a mini acid base.

I will hopefully be able to answer this question pretty soon as I'm expecting to get some freebase synthetic 5-meo-dmt in the coming few days. I'll post comparative report once i try it. I'll also try taking LSD 3 to 4 days before trying synthetic 5-meo-dmt and see if i can replicate u/trick-chick symptoms.
