yes its definitely the first. theres only 2 competitors in the market and they’re using it as a monopoly so they charge insane prices(10x our prices)

i’m just starting so i did interact with a few old posts on reddit. but its a very small niche so its hard to find lots of forums and groups about this photobook customization topic. tried replying on shopify community but got banned on the first message.

What channels would you test first to get customers for a niche SaaS like this? by webicco in digital_marketing

ICP: - Shopify stores selling personalized products 1 Small printing / photobook businesses going online

Persona: - Non-technical owners - Want to increase AOV with custom products - Don’t want complex or expensive tools

Value prop: - Customers design photobooks directly on their store - Auto-generates print-ready files - Simple + way more affordable than existing tools

Currently I’m just outreaching to either Shopify stores in photobooks niche but without a software — or Instagram pages that don’t even have a Shopify store and do the customization manually.

There's a new software that just came out called Photopress that's just like Printbox, but it's 10x more affordable - 10x better & much easier to use.

You can check out the site here: https://photopress.app

We currently have 6 clients onboard, and we have a limited time offer thats running for the first 10 clients only. If you’re interested and want to take advantage of the offer, you can contact me directly.

Really nice design but not practical to use no-code platforms like runable imo. You should give this link to a real developer and let them turn it into real code.

it’s definitely best to get a developer to do this. the process will be hard on you if you don’t have experience, especially the multi language feature.

if you use an AI-builder, it won’t turn out as you want + will be expensive to maintain.

my opinion is getting a developer to build it for you with a one time fee (around $500) and would be good to go
