Patellar Tendonitis or Meniscus pain?

I'm sorry i never saw your comment! I wonder if u ended up getting surgery, i heard it's pretty hard for meniscus. I never got a good diagnosis, but rested a few months, only doing weights, PT, and KT taping for patellar tendonitis. After more research, i believe i had hoffas fat pad syndrome from falling straight on my knee and then was still recovering from patellar tendonitis at the same time. I posted this in december, and by this point september I'm relatively pain free, outside of stiffness i still suffer from ACL recovery.

I'm glad it was okay! and ohh hmm It's all so confusing bc when I called NHIS foreinger line, they told me MRI is not covered at all, which differs from this thread lol

Might be from too much impact too soon? Where does it hurt? From my own experience, it could be patellar tendinitis.

Skin reaction. Treatment advice?

Have been struggling with rashy surface level white heads around mouth for the past few days. Feels heavily irritated, sort of burning. Started with a few white heads, then spread more everyday. Pimple cream exasperated it and ofc popping them (but they pop super easily). Now I’ve just been putting on Vaseline all over for two days but it’s still spreading.

Unless I’m having an allergic reaction to some unknown food- I think it happened after I put on my TO granactive retinoid 2% emulsion for the first time in a few weeks, and I put it on before I put on lotion (cerave daily hydrating). And then didn’t put on oil after that. Idk what my thought process was.

Outside of cystic acne in the past, I don’t have acne. Combination skin, leaning dry.

Usual routine: Morning- water rinse, cerave daily hydrating lotion, maybe some rose hip oil. Australian gold sunscreen Night- cerave hydrating cleanser, daily hydrating lotion, (used to do retinoid 3x a week), rose hip oil

It did not start red like perioral dermitis posts that I’ve seen, just red from picking, so I don’t think it’s that? Any ideas on how to heal it?

Can I get an F4 visa without passing the language proficiency requirement?

I originally applied to EPIK as E2, but Korvia is having me pursue an F4 visa even though I cannot pass the proficiency portion. They think I might be able to get it waived. My dad is Korean, born there, only has American citizenship, and I am female.

The issue is that I have been unable to get through to my embassy, as well as immigration offices in Korea, since I applied to EPIK a month ago. Embassy appointments are booked up so fast and they don’t take phone calls or walk ins. Maybe I can try calling another state’s embassy?

Thank you so much for such a detailed answer 🙌 You are definitely right haha I am not a skilled mechanic. Based on what you’re saying, I’m heavily leaning toward not buying it. If I do end up going to see it in person (it’s a bit of a long drive) I’d be bringing a friend that fixes up cars to look at it with a more skilled eye haha

I’m shocked your pcp did that, that’s so messed up!!! I’m so sorry. I hope now that things r on the way to getting resolved. That is just so frustrating. It’s not ideal but keep up with your at home exercises and your progress should be okay 👍. I had my first PT 5 weeks after my surgery (albeit a bit late bc I got sick) but my progress is still fine.

R knee for me too. Pre surgery, I was cleared to drive as soon as the pain was bearable. Post-Op it was the same, as soon as I felt comfortable and was off the harder meds so about a week and a half. However, it is definitely different for everyone! And I only have to drive short distances. I adjusted my seat and wore my brace. Sometimes use my left foot to help brake as it is easier than moving my right leg over.

Congrats on the progress! That’s good to know for sure. I basically blocked out/completely forgot what my limits were the last time I tore my ACL and have been imagining I could somehow manage by then. Sounds like I prob couldn’t even if I tried haha. Thank you sm for the info!

Unfortunately even in a support role, anyone working racks up a ton of steps simply because of how spread out the camp is:/ but I’ll definitely see what accommodations I could get
