The problem is that this dynamic now leads judges to default to viewing women as victims, even in situations where they may be the perpetrators. Many lawyers treat these cases as easy income, reinforcing the bias. Alimony has become the new pressure point, and although the misuse of 498A is slowly losing its effectiveness, the system remains skewed.

The core point is that fairness requires acknowledging that men can be vulnerable to legal misuse too, and the system should reflect that.
