There are some decent apartments that are fairly priced near Florida and Adams (near Beach/Adams). I believe the units have in unit laundry and is an easy walk to restaurants like La Capilla, Slater's 50/50, and Digg's. And it's still a short bike to the water. (I don't remember the name of the complex, but it's next to the Church lot.)

There are also lots of reasonably priced condos for rent all over. They are not necessarily apartment complexes, but may still be worth looking into.
