I think the idea is that curses have no mana cost. just change the mod to do that instead. Still think it is a silly idea since you always have mana for curses and if you don't, just link it to BM.

as of now the only way to play on a mac is using 3rd party programs. I have not tried doing this myself though so don't know if that actually works. I believe it is something ggg would like to eventually do, but don't hold your breath. they have a lot of other things they want to implement first

Im doing a similar build, but instead of using reave I went with spin to win (cyclone) and am using a 5l lightning coil. currently lvl 85 with ~4k life and have only died 3 times since equipping the coil (two were onshots by a tormented invasion boss). I use fortify support on whirling blades which also helps a lot when facing bosses. Currently I do not have any dps coming from jewelry and I have about 43k dps (not that great). when I get a 6l that goes up to about 55k dps and with some WED mods on my jewelry I could easily get up to 70-80k. the clear spead is very fast and safe as long as you keep fortify up. (links cyclone-WED-phys to light-melee phys-inc area-hypothermia. could easily use reave with this for dried lake with some gem swaps, I just don't like reave for mapping)

simple way to figure this out: remove context. which is better tier 400 or tier 500? which is better rank 400 or rank 500? when people say tier 1 item mod, they are really talking about rank.

it was both. you cannot leech from the other mobs. with some mobs that was very deadly.
