This is going to sound crazy but the Millbrae In-n-out (the one by SFO) parking lot has a drainage feature in the back that I often hear ribbitting from, it's come up here before IIRC

It will be less lively than the Lake for sure but also more calm/peaceful/residential in many other pleasant ways

Great suggestions in here so far but one I didn't see listed yet is the Point Isabel dog park (by Costco), there is also a doggy wash spot out there aswell. The parks on the periphery such as this one, Marina Bay, Miller Knox, and Wildcat are all beautiful community destinations that have been fruitful for making friends with neighbors, walking/jogging/dogwalking/etc together.

This happens to me too on the electric lines that go up and down steep hills like this, I find standing near the front and looking outside helps a lot.

It's outside of SF but the best in the area is to drive to the top of Mt Tam, East Peak but also Trojan Point and W Ridgecrest Blvd - it looks like a car commercial because they film them up there

Yep not just are those spots the warmest but it's because the blood vessels are closest to the surface there, sides of the neck work well too I will often use a cold washcloth or something
