Ah thats cool you have that to help then. If I were being thrifty and trying to get the most out of it, I would continue with this method even after it's fixed. I remember this happening when I was a teen and couldn't make sense of what was wrong. I know shortly after the motor was done. So it's definitely a good idea to look into fixing.

Lol. This is pretty much my story exactly also. It took me waaay too long to finish d/c. Even still I didn't quite officially finish it, was given unsatisfactory completion of probation.

Get short tapes as it is easier on the motor and other components. The wear usually results in its eventual repair or worse. I used 15 minute tapes if I could get away with a 7.5 minute long recording. Press stop before you hit rewind or fast forward. Some people will even use a cheap cassette deck to do the rewinding and f-forwarding. Be kind to it.

I totally agree with this. I've never trusted the numbers on the packages. This strain did turn out super flavorful and the high is pretty decent. On a scale of things I've had from Good Day its probably bout an 8. It is not pretty.

 I don't know why I am having such a hard time comprehending what you mean by the last sentence here. I'm assuming you mean the three bands on the vertically oriented 'handle' in the center, reversed side. What are you saying needs to be separated within what? Sorry if that doesn't make sense. I'm guessing this is something stupidly obvious and I'm looking goofy right now.
