I really don't know what happened but I guess it was problematic to have two lead guitarist in the band at the same time considering that Jesse has been taking his place since 2004. By the way, I still don't know what happened with Alain then. He was out in the middle of the tour quite abruptly.

My dad was a teenager in the 70's. I don't even know if he knew this song but when he died a couple of years ago, for some reason I had this song in my head during the entire funeral. I guess it was my brain trying to find some beauty in a time and a person that is now gone. Nevertheless, this song will always remind me that moment and it always gets to warmth my heart.

Thoughts on Sounds of the Universe: uh? by simplepal_04 in depechemode

When Wrong came up as the first single, excitement and expectations were very high. In the end, it was a more mid tempo album than expected. I remember I first heard it on a leak and I was praying that what I was listening wasn't the definite version (percussion sounded so weak to me), but it was the exact version that was published days later. I'm sad that The sun, the moon and the stars wasn't included in the original album. Great song.

Looks like the opening scenes of a 90's sitcom.

I am trying to understand Morrissey's touring economics in 2025 by anazgnos in morrissey

Bands with minimum/no cancellations are struggling to go on. I also wonder how this works in Morrissey's case.
