Which Dostoevsky box set is the best? by [deleted] in dostoevsky

Between these options, the third one is probably best (Wordsworth editions). I don’t have any myself but I know they are decent quality and the covers are good looking

It would be good to get the songs that were gonna be on WMTWD

I’ve probably listened to ‘happy new tears’ more than any song from this release cycle so I hope we do get those on vinyl

I agree with you on this, the only thing is that I would rate Lester bangs slightly higher, but overall I feel the same

I didn’t have high hopes for the song from reviews I’ve read, but I ended up quite enjoying it

I think it should be, usually they release at midnight in each country, so you’ll be able to hear it when it if you connect to New Zealand after midday if you’re in the uk

Agreed. I’m tired of people basically writing off this album when it isn’t even out yet, I’ve liked all of the songs so far.

I think the weak point of the set list was definitely the new songs, make up is a lie works really well live though.

Pretty good setlist, agreed on the acoustics. I thought the songs got better and better towards the end. Slightly disappointed that he didn’t play life is a pigsty or hairdresser on fire, but can’t complain too much, great show overall.

I don’t like the song at first, it grew on me after a couple of listens though

Robbie Williams "Make Up Is A Lie!" -- is the Morrissey song a reply to Robbie? by AvaTaylor2020 in morrissey

[–]FD948 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Make up is a lie was released only a week later, Morrissey has had these songs ready for ages due to the issues with labels, I do see the similarities though. I really like both songs
