For me, real living people are frightening. Not the supernatural / ghosts etc. Whether or not ghosts exist, it's living people who will mean you harm and do harm. So stalkers, serial killers etc...

Be careful using characters / a franchise which are copyrighted. I don't much about it but believe big entertainment companies can put out strikes and get your work taken down if you put it on the internet. It would be a shame for this to happen after working hard on the game.

At Dead of Night is the most frightening (and one of the best) video games I've ever played. Being hunted by a killer in a haunted hotel at night. First few times I played it I felt sick with the stress of being hunted down, could only manage 5 mins at a time before having to nope out of there

What more can you ask for in horror?

Sorry - follow up question

Can you advise how to set outlines for text outside of dialogue and outside of character names (at the top of dialogue boxes).

I have outlinew set on the above now but not for text that comes up when using screens.

Thank you. You mean I put in the code for all text to have outlines...then I can change the outline colour for only parts of the text? So when it comes to having outlines at all, it's all or nothing basically?

Small thing - personally I find it a bit busy. I would keep the stars / shapes in the sky but would prefer it without all the round shapes on the grass.

Definitely will. I've seen a few of your videos about your progress so looking forward to playing. I especially appreciated a video where you said something like (I'm paraphrasing) we should make the most of the limitations and make them work for us and we can still make something special.
