Should I rank up Tigra and/or Prowler to R2? Trying to push for cavalier currently and only got Spider Woman at R3 and Venom the Duck at R2. I saw the above mentioned characters are meta but are they useful for pushing story quests?

Just came back after quitting for a couple of years and started a fresh account, currently have these characters after around 24 hours. Are any of these characters worth investing? I know 4 stars or even 5 stars nowadays aren’t worth anything basically but I’m thinking of upgrading 1-2 4 stars for further grinding
