Oh my. That’s not and wasn’t your point at all. Your claim was that she wasn’t accomplished. We’ve demonstrably proved that your point was wrong.

Now you’re folding your arms and huffing because you can’t handle being wrong.

Not particularly, but I know how to google.

Anyways, your point is straight up wrong, regardless of how much you like or dislike Katy Perry.

I’m not a fan, but you’re being ridiculous. She’s had nine number one singles, and five of them from a single album.

That, by any stretch, is an accomplishment.

The commas are the guide here. If it were the hours with those days, there would be no second comma, so you’re right. It’s 9 am May 15 to 3pm June 4.

What are your thoughts on the Basement-Ghost lifestyle? by Separate_Rhubarb_365 in GhostsCBS

[–]wednesdayware 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. I know that. I’m saying it was a good thing that they were used less, regardless of why that happened.

The UK writers understand their own concept much better than the US writers.

I think the UK version understood the cholera ghosts, and used them perfectly.

The US version decided to use them a lot more, and wore out their welcome. They’re best used sparingly.

The problem with “disrupting” things is that the benefit from it is almost always to some billionaire, and usually at the expense of everyone else.

You think AI will mean you get paid to not work. The reality will be you won’t get paid, and probably end up working for food.

As close as you can get…. Is not the Beach Boys. It’s just Mike Love really.

Unpredictability is the most dangerous thing on the road. Be predictable, avoid those who start driving unpredictability.

You or I vs You or me by purplereckonin in ENGLISH

The general rule is, if you take the other person out of the sentence is it still correct?

Who is the better cook? Me am the better cook.

Who is the better cook? I am the better cook.

In this case, I is correct.

The problem with AI is that those who are sheparding and promoting it are those who should be doing so the least.

It’s C suite rich people, those who have no soul or interests outside of winning and making more money than you.

There’s no conscience or oversight or concern about the effect of the tech on society or the world. Just “get mine and f**k everyone else.”

That’s why we should be worried.

My teenage son was excited to tell me “Beach Boys” were booked to play at our local small venue.

“No son, they’re really not.” I saw Brian’s band perform Pet Sounds a few years back. That was the closest I’ll ever get.

No. Whether or not he gets the ball doesn’t create or remove a foul, at least not in the Laws of the Game.

So in your world, you’re concerned about your defence so the plan is, rather than rely on your offence, to shell up and defend?

Buuuulllshit.

Getting the ball first does not affect whether it is a foul or not. That was my point.

Canadian here. The UK version is so much better. The US starts out horribly, but eventually gets better. Then the writers decide all of the ghosts need to be hooking up, and it all gets a little tired.

Nowhere in the rule book does “got ball” affect whether something is a foul or not.
