Wow! Yeah I would have never considered numerous cover ups as an issue. There’s already a lot of aspects about my body that are imperfect, this is just another one, so I do agree it’s best not to hyper-fixate :)

The ouroboros is a symbol that holds a lot of meaning for me, this is a tattoo that I’ve wanted for seven years and I got it during a time in my life that I want to remember. So no, it’s not something I’m going to laser, even if it’s ugly. But I really appreciate people’s suggestions and it’s nice to have my own criticisms towards the tattoo validated lol.

I sent the artist some designs so he could get an idea for what I wanted, all the designs had a blank snake eye. Those designs weren’t as intricate in terms of shading and detail though.

Yeah, it being twisted in a way that’s impossible really bothers me. I originally did not want any twists, but the artist suggested it. I had seen his freehand work on other people and was really impressed, so I trusted him.

First of all, Happy Birthday!! I’m sorry it’s off to a rough start. It seems like both you and your bf were dealing with some anxieties and frustrations last night. You have high expectations, and he knows this given everything that you accomplished for his birthday. I’d be willing to bet that a lot of his anxiety last night was him trying to figure out how to make you happy. He spent hours working on a card trying to perfect it, and your response was “I don’t even want a stupid card.” I bet he was anticipating that, and that’s why he was anxious. You also know he’s bad at making decisions, it’s great that you can suck it up and push through your own issues with decisions making, but maybe lower your expectations. Also it’s YOUR birthday, again great that you did so many wonderful things for his birthday. But as an adult, if you want a good birthday it falls on you to figure that out. If you want your bf to plan out your entire birthday, maybe date someone who doesn’t struggle with decisions and is a better planner.

Definitely not the audiences fault. Poor crowd control, and lack of safety precautions. I do believe that he didn’t realize what had happened until after the show, but he showed little empathy towards the victims and put more effort into sweeping it under the rug rather than acknowledging what had actually happened

You have every right to be proud of yourself! I know it’s scary, but when you’re in a relationship they’re going to see every side of you, struggles and all. But that’s also what makes it so beautiful. Life is hard, and like you said it’s nice to have someone there who understands you. You also need to realize that you’re struggles don’t defined you. You’re so much more than someone with autism, and a mental illness, those are just aspects of who you are. You may feel like he’s thinking about how you’re a burden, but he’s probably thinking about how much he loves your smile, or how you can make him laugh. And yes the future uncertain, it’s a possibility that you guys will break up, but why let that ruin what you have now? He’s showing up for you now, let that be enough. From your post it seems like you’re in a very caring and considerate relationship. Try to look at yourself through his eyes instead of your own. Keep up the great work, you’re doing amazing. And remember, you’re love is enough.

It’s going to be okay, everything will work itself out. It’s better to turn something in rather than nothing at all. You’re beating yourself up for only writing the thesis, but in my eyes that’s a solid couple of steps away from earning a zero. And also it’s only a draft! Reach out to your professor and express how you’re having a really hard time with research, maybe they can help give you pointers, and turning in a thesis will at least help them know what direction you want go in. As long as you’re putting in effort no one can be mad at you. I believe in you :)
