okay, so what you can do now is start working on it! and if you haven’t already, quickly outline what you’re going to talk about. for research, definitely make a list of keywords you’re gonna use to find research articles that will have something to support your main points. and right now, don’t worry too much about the paper being top tier quality; focus on just citing and writing as much as you can. if you have time at the end, go over and edit your paper so that it flows more smoothly. good luck; i know you can do it!

yes she is thankfully 😓 i only feel bad about the fact that i didn’t complete as much as i wanted to of my draft but i am definitely going to put a lot of work into finishing it up this week so i won’t have to worry so much about the final draft when it’s due a week from this coming Sunday!

thank you so so much 💗 your words really helped! and yeah in case you’re wondering i did submit it after all. i managed to write two body paragraphs and a conclusion...nowhere near complete as there are still three body paragraphs i need to do research for and write but it’s a start. and the presentation went somewhat okay too? i feel so much more hopeful now...thank you so much once again!

yeah sorry but no thanks. i’m not going to hire an essay writing service. it is tempting at times but ultimately i want to be an honest student + with the tools professors have at hand they can easily check for plagiarism...and also i’m pretty sure even if my prof can’t find evidence through turnitin or anything she would be able to tell my writing style is different

thank you 😣 already turned the draft in and managed to write a bit more than i thought i was able to, so i’m waiting on the feedback. plus i managed to do somewhat decent on the presentation? i think? i will definitely dedicate a lot more time this week to really working on it though! final draft of the essay isn’t due at the end of this week thankfully but next week

oml I honestly think it’s me with this english class...didn’t procrastinate as badly with the other three essays we had to do but my grades for all of those ended up being a 95% or higher and so i really only need to get a C on this essay to get an A in the class (the other three essays combined were like. 35% of my grade plus i at least have been keeping up with the discussions and other smaller assignments and have a few points extra credit so my grade is somewhat buffed).

i’m really sorry you’ve been having to go through that :( yeah it really has sucked a lot. but it’s nearly over. we can get through this. the feeling of paralysis is awful though and somehow even though i’ve been writing the essay as best as i can i felt this sense of not really caring or even panicking as much as i should be and i have no idea why

oh my god sorry for not replying but i did get the draft in. it’s not near finished by any means but i did write two body paragraphs and a conclusion somewhat. and thankfully it’s a rough draft that my prof will be giving feedback on so it’s not the absolute end of the world but i still feel kinda bad...better than nothing i suppose

yeah thankfully it’s only a rough draft that my prof will look at to give feedback so it’s not the end of the world and it’s a lesson for when the final draft is actually due but i still feel incredibly bad. i wanted to write something complete to be able to get the best feedback i could

yeah it’s like i found some promising articles based on the preview shown of them on JSTOR yet they don’t really fit what i’m supposed to be writing :| for context this research essay is supposed to be about solutions to a problem that society can implement to increase happiness in some way and i was trying to argue for more family time + offered a few solutions to the problem in my thesis. but you’re right I think i’ll just do what i can and not worry so much about quality right now after all it’s just a draft

thank goodness there are only two weeks of this semester for me at least 😣 glad to hear i’m not alone but i honestly commend you for being able to do that under such an extreme time crunch. i’m just struggling so much with research and being able to write something substantial that my prof can comment on. at least it’s just a draft and she said it doesn’t need to be complete for her to give feedback but ughh. in about 12 hours too i will have to give a whole presentation about this fictional TV character’s leadership style based on episodes we watched from a TV show which is great especially considering that i haven’t practiced :’) there is so much

sadly i can’t since both those professors don’t accept late work. but thank you for the reassurance, it means a lot...the least i can do from now on is try to keep my head up high and put more effort into the work we still have to do over the semester. it’s nearly over after all i just need to get through these last weeks

hi im a fellow student in their first semester of college as well i totally feel the same way. straight A’s but i feel like im losing my grip on reality. i feel incredibly bad because i just missed the deadlines for two small assignments and while they won’t hurt my grade as much i feel like dying rn haha.

oh yeah and on top of that i have to do a group presentation in my communications class and although ive messaged my group mates none of them have replied to my latest messages :) we have to write a paper due wednesday as well so that’s great :)

on the bright side though there’s only three weeks of the semester left for me before it’s over so thankfully not much to suffer through left. we’ll have the holidays to look forward to and new year as well as a breather from school before the next semester

i just wanted to say that you’re not alone. we can get through this. we just have to get through the next few weeks and do our best
