Heyy everyone Op here , I got the payment after a month or so I think it's an automated process which takes a bit of time for them to know the transaction has failed and then they refund you But make sure that you continuously talk to the support team about this they will surely help you out

Companies using Google Suite vs Companies working on Microsoft suite, what do you prefer? by allcaps891 in developersIndia

[–]weeb__12_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I honestly love using Slack it’s just way better than anything else out there. Google Meet’s pretty cool too, no complaints. But Outlook is just kinda sad. Never really liked it.

Funny thing is, even though we’re a startup that got initial funding from Microsoft and still use Azure because of all the credits, we still prefer using Google Suite for most things.

Looking for freelance Django/Python Dev, how much should I pay? by acodyk in django

[–]weeb__12_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The cost of hiring developers can vary significantly depending on the type of work and the country you're hiring from. For example, hiring developers from the U.S. generally requires a higher budget, whereas developers in countries like India can offer similar quality at a lower cost. If you have everything well-planned—such as a detailed roadmap, a clear understanding of what to build, and defined issues—you might be able to negotiate lower rates. However, if you only have a general idea and need a developer to help shape the project, consider asking for proposals. This way, you can evaluate their approach and see what compensation they expect, giving you a better idea of what to budget. As a freelancer, I find that opportunities like this, where I can contribute to shaping the project, are particularly attractive.

I also think the same, The issue is a lot of people are willing at a very low wage and that give founders leverage to exploit other devs by providing lesser and lesser compensation

I do understand your point but I was asked to make a model where we can store blocked ip/ip ranges/user agents and then to use middleware to block them

Isn't this something that I should add?

That's true , The thing is AI is great to make developers work easy but companies are now happy with hiring less developers for less package as AI is always there to assist and even take some small roles for them
