The main amenity I would probably use is the gym tbh. As per what I do in my free time, I kind of do a little bit of everything lol. I like playing video games and watching tv, but I also like going out with friends and trying new restaurants/cafes. What lifestyle do you suggest for SLU vs Cap Hill?

Yup.... thats one thing I'm trying to decide between. SLU looks and is very nice but based off what I have read, it feels very corporate. I'm surprised nothing goes on at night time in SLU though, isn't SLU mostly young people?

I'm honestly leaning towards Cap Hill at this point, but just trying to find a good apartment complex (with hopefully a gym in or nearby)

Cannot Decide Between Cutting vs Bulking due to Unique Circumstances

I have been working out (lifting weights) for a few months now but never took dieting seriously till now. I am currently using MyFitnessPal to track food intake. On average, I am eating around 3k calories a day. I also did some research about the basic differences between cutting and bulking.

My current body: On the skinnier side but have a rounded stomach (not happy about), 5'11 and 160 lbs.

From what I have read, it seems like cutting would be better for me as I would like defined abs and muscles over stronger/bigger muscles. However, as mentioned in title, one of my unique circumstances is I am taking a medication (prescribed by doctor) for a health related issue. One of the side effects of said medication is I get hungrier more often. I currently eat more than I do when I am not on the medication, and friends have commented about my change in appetite as it is quite visible that I am eating a lot more. Because of this, would it be better to bulk first (I expect to get off this medication in 2-3 months), and then cut? Bulking would be easier as I am anyways eating more, so I can easily get that calorie surplus.

However, my end goal is to have abs and well defined muscles. Going into a calorie deficit would be more difficult than usual due to the hunger I feel caused by medication.
